This printer has been abused and damaged while moving from State to State. It was last operational some time in 2008. And I was unable to get the black ink to prime, so it printed until the ink head itself ran out of ink and was not being refilled from the larger reservoir. Since that time. It has experienced some damage in transit. the print area cover had an item fall on it, causing the little plastic tabs to break. This will be an easy fix and the damage is minimal. In addition, the plastic housing was damaged on the side of the unit(see photo) Other than this. I have not inspected or tested the machine any further. I have a used Canon Imageprograf ipf6200 for sale. It comes with the ST-25 stand. Roll paper feeder with a new roll of paper(HW Coated) and has worked fine until recently. It needed the heads replaced and I have put in two new heads both right and left. It printed out full sets of calibration prints which look excellent I printed about four full size prints(one photo and three drafting pages) and now I am getting a clean heads error message. My company does not want me to spend any additional money on it. As I said it was working perfect and now have this annoying problem. The heads were $986 for the set. The ink levels are varied and it has had a new maintenance cartridge installed($85) I really would not like to ship it but will on on as-is basis only. For sale is my Hewlett Packard Designjet 60" 5500 Inkjet plotter with the built in postscript option. You will not need RIP software to run this machine- RIP is built in. The machine has been maintained by a certified HP technician and is in great working order. It currently has a set of dye based inks in the machine. Half of the colors are almost completely filled and the other three colors are about 25% or so filled. As seen in the photos you will see that the machine boot up properly and all of the print heads are in good working order. You will be receiving the original users maintenance kit which has just about all of the material still in tact. You will also receive the original core adapters that came with the machine as well as a brand new unopened belt for the machine.
