Up for sale- Hp Hewlett Packard DesignJet 750 C Plus Wide Format Printer/ Plotter for parts/repair. This item is used and being auctioned as is; comes with a power cord and no other accessories. It is missing it's wire catches along the frame and is parallel interface only; no USB. There are cartridges installed but I believe they are mostly empty save the black which reads as full. The cartridges and ink nozzles/ print heads condition is not known nor is the total page count. We tried using a different roll of paper than that specified and could not get it to print anything. There is a network card installed but it is not tested either. The parallel port works and my computer picked it up right away but you will have to watch for driver incompatibility(we were using Vista and could not find an effective driver for it) Above are some ... morescreen shots and the cartridge carriage moved back and forth with no issues. Hewlett Packard DraftMaster RX pen plotter
This is a 36" roll plotter. I haven't used it since 2000 because when AutoCAD 2000 came out they stopped providing drivers for this model and it hasn't been used since. If you are interested in this item you might check to see if you can get a driver for it before bidding. I have no drivers nor setup disk and it isn't plug and play. As the photos show this offer includes the User's Guide. A serial cable(RS-232-C) and numerous plotter pens. Most of the pens have never been opened but I can't certify that they are still usable. According to the User's Guide this model accepts 11" 24" and 36" sheet or roll media. The normal maximum plot length is 61.7" but this model also features Long-Axis plots in consecutive frames.

It is wide format and printers up to 36 inches wide. Pictures 8 and 9 are of the printing it was doing when it was put into storage. Picture 10 is of the print out it did today when I plugged it in and it tried to align the cartridges. I would say the print head will need a good cleaning or replacing. The screen works and the printer head moves freely without any problems. It does come with stand and 5 of the wire racks that catch large print outs. This is large and heavy to ship. This plotter has worked very well for us for the past two years. We had the same plotter for almost 10 years earlier and traded it in for this refurbished one. It come with a stand(not in photo) A roll feeder, a plans catcher and extra color and black ink cartridges. This plotter is limited to 24" by 36" down to 8.5" by 11" and all sizes in between. Vintage? 7580B Hewlett Packard HP Wide Format Pen Plotter Blueprint etc. Maker
HP 7580b plotter that I was trying to turn into a vinyl cutter a while back. I couldn't figure out how to get the software to run it. So I bought an actual cutter. The plotter still works. Or at least did, I did a confidence test with it a few times and all was fine, except the pens are about out of ink(maybe all the way out of ink by now) Someone wrote that you can refill them using India ink, but I'm not sure if that is only black. Also. One of the caster wheels is missing, so it sits a little uneven unless propped up under that foot(you could maybe replace the wheels for a couple $) I have a replacement, but it is a bit smaller than the originals. I bought a special cable(I think because of the age of this machine. You need a special cable to connect it to modern PCs) for it that you can have if I still have it. There's a cable ... moreconnected to it now, but not sure if that was the stock cable or the'special' one I bought.
