It's one and only owner was a State Run Facility in Ohio called Ability works that exists primarily to provide jobs for the mentally handicap. Because the machine was owned by the state. They not only paid over $60,000.00, but they had opted for the additional motorized take up reel which is great when printing vinyl, several sets of Ink, cords, solvents, even a backup part that accepts the ink and releases it into the machine(I forget the name of that particular part) Also. They once had the UV curing bulb burn out so they bought 4, so it comes with 3 extras(Only the state throws money around like that) They also had a service contract which included a weekly visit from a Tech to make sure everything was 100% They had that service contract because they only ... moreused it about once a week, and didn't want any issues with ink drying up. For all these reasons I'd say this printer lived a very pampered life. If you look at the pictures. You'll see the machine looks practically brand new. The previous manager of the facility that owned it showed me a video of it printing a large run of vinyl. The reason I saw the video is they had their service tech remove all ink and flush with solvent. I have not run any prints because I primarily run the Edge printer and don't have the room. Just before I took pictures. I powered it up. Runs very quietly. Only 2 issues to mention. After I powered it up it gave me a error about the pinch wheel not being properly aligned. My 52" Gerber Odyssey plotter has the same keypad and has given me similar errors in the past. It was just a adjustment to the size of material in the machine. I don't believe it's anything more than that, but I don't know the machine enough to say with certainty. The only other negative is I couldn't fit the flatbed tables in my truck.
