For auction is this Ford 140 4 bottom 16" plow. I used it last spring and it is too much plow for my tractor. So I have drooped back to a 3 bottom 14"I took one of the chisles off last spring and used it that way. Over the winter someone stole the chisle that I took off so I guess this is really a 4 bottom plow that has been reduced to a 3 bottom plow. Everything looks to be in above average condition. You are bidding on a pretty good set of Massey Ferguson 3-Point Hitch. 3-Bottom, 16-Inch Plows. It does have the disc coulters, the coverboards and the tailwheel on it. The plow bottoms look good, moldboards are still pretty thick, points do have some wear, disc coulters are wore quite a bit. Looks like it still has lots of life in it. The frame looks good with no breaks or welds on it. Overall it looks to be a real good older plow, but keep in mind it is an old used plow and it is not perfect. Would be good for the smaller farmer; for your gardens or your sweet corn patch. Also good for your food plots. 16 inch plows are hard to find for sale! Up for bids is a heavy duty 16" 2 bottom plow. This plow was cut down from a bigger set of plows to fit a cat 1 3 pt hitch. All the components(ie. shin moldboard frog. Ect) have quite a bit of life left. The plow is painted red, but there is green paint underneath so Im not sure of manufacturer. Plow was used this spring. I'm selling this plow for parts. it is missing the handle and arms to lift the one side up and down. Someone has wanted a piece of angle iron on the point of the one plow. As you can see the one piece of the sod cutter is missing and the other one is wore. The two tires on each side are in good shape and hold air.
