Up for auction is a tested and working Weston model 375 Galvanometer(see my other auctions for more meters) It has a scale marking of 30-0-30 and is approximately 3-1/4” in diameter. It is mounted in an open frame stand that measures 3-3/4”W x 4-1/4”H x 3-3/8” D. I tested this meter to insure it is not DOA; I also confirmed that the zero adjustment works properly. One use for this meter is for a science project to demonstrate the generation of an electric current(move a bar magnet through a coil of wire connected to the meter terminals) Then. Demonstrate reciprocity by connecting the coil to a DC source to create magnetism. This meter will be shipped with a shunt across the meter terminals for dampening of the movement and packed with bubble wrap and peanuts for safe delivery.
