This is a used item in Good Condition that will need some work I could not test this as I haven't the means to do so I noticed the power cord is missing the ground. Shown in a close-up. Last photo. I plugged this in and it powered up ok. I could not try it any further. The big knobs seem to move as they should. Some of the bottom switches donot move smoothly but they did click in place Also the meter is loose and can slide out some as its not secured in place. I sent it to Icom of America in Washington State to have it thoroughly checked out. They replaced a motor in the internal tuner and a couple other minor things. I asked them to completely check it out and it came back like new. It is a shame that with my K3. FT-1000mp, FT-1000D, boatanchors and such I rarely use the IC-775. It sat at the end of my radio bench getting used once in awhile for 17 meters. I can't tell you how nice it is to have a 200 watt rig to hunt and pounce chasing DX and in contests or just for putting out a big signal on the bands without having to tune up the amp. But this radio just hasn't got the respect it deserves. I had to think long and hard about selling it but it is really time I reduce my stock so somethings have to go. Just today(7/13/2014) I worked people running barefoot on 12.15,17,20 and 40 meters putting out just over 200 watts with the internal tuner. The DSP is a pleasure to use with the way it will quiet down static and bring signals out of the noise. This is a fine Icom that I consider a real sleeper, one that people started realizing after

Worked V5/DJ8VC on 40 meters barefoot putting out 175-200 watts. On 12,15 and 17 meters it put out 175-190 watts, and 20 meters 190-200 watts. Copied WWV on 10Mhz in AM and USB/LSB. As best I can tell there is no AM/FM board that I see but it has been a long time since I played with one of these. The relays(known issue with FT-102's) all are blue with DEG on them which may or may not be original. When first turned on after a year or more in the back room it demonstaited some'intermittent' receive but now after several hours operating on my radio bench it seems to be solid copy. I did go and switch thru the'mode' and'band' positions to clean up the contacts repeatedly. Mostly I think it just needs operating to be stable and clean the switches. Left meter(multi-function) light is out. Solid copy on receive on all bands checked(nothing heard on 10 meters) Comes with extensive 56 page original instruction manual. Serial# 2I 030017. As I recall these transceivers came out around 1980-1983 and were the last of the hybrid transceivers from Yaesu, the FT-980 was next in line and the FT-101ZD mkIII around the same time as the F

Ham Radio Yaesu FT-901DM HF Base Station 160- 10 meters transceiver AM,FM,CW,SSB
Up for bid is a well used Yaesu FT-901DM. Receiver appears to work great. Transmitter has very low output on 160. 80 meters and very little to none on the rest of the bands therefore listed as parts or repair. Case shows signs of many years of use, screws look worn. Rear fan housing has been slightly bent inward but not very noticeable. Front face looks fairly clean and no noticeable scratches. I think a technically minded person could fix this radio and have a fairly good unit. This is defiantly a fixer-upper but get the transmitter going and you got a great radio. Icom 2KL 500 watt solid state amplifier with p/s for 10/160 meters for ham radio
Up for auction is an Icom 2KL amplifier with the matching power supply. I was told that the amp had a problem and it does. As far as I can tell it puts out no power. I put 20 watts into it and the warning light came on. I checked my SWRs and they showed good so I think it's the amp. It's pretty clean and I know these are great little amps when they are working. It's helped me work all of my favorite local& regional repeaters on the road and also some DX during openings on 6m& 10m. I've many times talked to Europe& S. America on 29.600 FM Simplex and also European stations on the well known 29.650 10-meter repeater located in the Swiss Alps. I original purchased this radio because I needed a all-in-one radio to operate the repeaters I own. And embarked on a 6 meter project. I never planned to sell this radio, however times have been tough lately, and with me transitioning between jobs, I have to let a few gems go. so my loss is your gain. This radio was $500 when originally purchased. I do however in the coming months plan to buy another FT-8900. Along with ... morethis radio I'm including a YSK-8900 Separation Kit& the Windows Programming Software with Programming Cable. I'm still looking for the original manual. I do have a PDF version that I can include on disc. Everything on the radio works great. however a note about the microphone. I noticed if you wiggle around the cable furiously. A mild kinda"wind" like sound occurs with your audio. I never found it to be a problem for me, nor have I got any bad audio reports, but it's something I feel I should make a potential buyer aware of. This radio has never been modified for extended transmit. However I did increase the audio deviation on the 10m transmit due to the stock setting being very narrow. The rig has 6 bands with great audio reports from other operators as well as sounding great through my Receive. If you are looking at this radio you probably already know what this radio does! Radio Receives and Transmits as it should with proper output power. The unit is in immaculate condition without scratches all over it like some of the radio's I have seen lately. Kenwood TS 520S Ham/Amateur Radio HF SSB/CW Transceiver 160-10 Meters
Pictured here at auction is a Kenwood TS 520S SSB/CW HF 160-10 meter(no WARC band capabilities) in working condition. This one does not have the optional CW filter! Summary of condition: 1) The finals were replaced with"good" testing. NOS, RCA 6146W's, and the output is 100 watts on the lower bands and slightly less on the upper bands, 15 and 10. The driver tube, the 12BY7 tests"good" as well. 2) The pilot lamps behind the s-meter work. 3) All bands have been aligned on receive and it is very sensitive. 4) The rig's case has very. Very minor scratches. 5) The side cover over the vox controls. Etc is there. 6) The VFO bi-pass plug on the rear is included. The power cord is an original Kenwood cord. 7) The handle is original. Unfrayed, and strong. 8) Numerous on-air contacts on'open' bands have been made ... morewith this rig with good reports- most recently on 15 meters with a DX station. 9) There is no mic nor manual included with this auction. Ranger RCI-2970 SSB AM FM CW 12 meters 10 meters Ham Radio Transceiver
OK. Here I have a classic favorite for Ham Operators and CB Operators alike! It's a used but working Ranger RCI-2970 that has the heat sink on the bottom, power cord, microphone with up and down buttons, mounting bracket, and thumb screws. Radio is not new but in fair cosmetic condition as well as operates as it should. I tested the rig on 10 meter antenna. The unit transmits and receives as intended as you may be able to see me key up the radio in the pictures. Received signals on 10 meters, 11 meters but I you are looking at this radio you probably know what the radio is capable of. As with all electronic equipment this sale is"AS IS" but will NOT be DOA! Here I have a working(unit was shown to work to me by the ham operator that I purchased it from) Golden Eagle 300 watt RF power amplifier the has a"LOW" and"HIGH" settings switch.
