Needle deflects in one direction for a positive input and in the other direction for a negative input. Ideal for use as a null meter for a bridge or other similar circuit. PHASTRON 0-50 RUGGEDIZED Microamperes DC Meter 207-00501
This is a vintage Phastron RUGGEDIZED Microamperes Meter. The meter appears to be in very good condition. The case is a galvanized metal and is heavy. There is some scratches in the paint. The glass shows no chips or cracks. The meter is round measuring 2 3/4" diameter. Please see all photos for detailed description. The handling time is longer due to holiday travel. The Gauge has a Range of 0-50 but I do not see the Identification other than DC. This came out of the Estate of a NASA Aerospace Engineer who worked in the Launch Control Room at Cape Kennedy. He amassed a Collection of over 50 Electrical Gauges from his career and they will be offered here in the next few weeks. It Measures about 1 3/4" Tall by 1 3/4" Wide by 1 3/4" Deep. Vintage DC Microamperes Meter. 270-1751. I could not find a maker on the unit. The only thing that I found inside was the initials. TCE" USM/1. It takes a square 9 volt battery(not included) The battery connector is clean and shiny. see photo) Has a red on/off switch and a meter knob that goes from 0-50. The plastic case was made in U.S.A. and the part where you turn the knob. Has Korea stamped on it. It is untested and sold as is. There are connectors on the side for hook up.
