This auction is for two Lifegard IV Pass Alarms. The more weathered alarm still has its battery and will go off when turned on. Judging by the weight of the cleaner one there is no battery. I do not know what the internal condition of either of these alarms are. These are a cheaper alternative to the Lifegard II Alarm used in Ghostbusters 2 on the busters' gun belts and they look very similar. This is a Lifegard II Pass alarm that is the exact movie prop used in the ghostbusters movies. This is a stock unit and would need to be altered to match the one used in the movie. This unit has two modes: On& Arm. If you switch it to ON the alarm will shriek loudly and continuously until you switch the alarm off. Once you switch it to ARM. The alarm will beep a few times to let the wearer know that the alarm is now armed. During the arm phase if the alarm lies motionless for 30 seconds the alarm will ring in a lower tone and you can stop the alarm by shaking it. If the alarm is not deactivated the alarm will get extremely loud and be constant until the wearer turns off the alarm by switching the alarm to off. Check out my! The pass alarm was serviced by a certified technician on a regular basis. And for this reason the alarm STILL WORKS ... moreFLAWLESSLY as the day it was made. The certified technician tested the unit on 10-6-13 and installed a brand new Duracell Pro C el l 9v battery. It does have some scratches. Marks, and unit is slightly dirty due to being in service but does not affect the alarm in any way. There are small cracks on the unit near the battery compartment(pic 2& 4) And the plastic around one of the screws is broken(pic 2) T hese defects do not affect the alarm in any way.
