What I have for sale is a rare US Forest Service firefighting knapsack or packsack. As it is called. It is slightly used but is very clean and only shows two light stains. One is on a shoulder strap near the cinch buckle and another in on the back portion. The main pouch has a smaller pouch on the inside to hold smaller objects and both sides come with two tie straps. The photos on R&R's website are flawed showing what appear to be a full set of turnouts in this bag. There is no way. I used it for wildland stuff and it was great. Helmet. Gloves, pants and coat, chest harness, lumbar pack with shelter, and a few extra goodies. Other guys at my department use the same bag for personal tech rescue gear and have great success. Unlike the other 2 firefighter gear bags I have for auction currently. This one is showing some wear. It rode around the the side compartment of the medic unit with my gear for several summers. No rips, tears, holes, etc. But there are several stains on the bottom of the bag that don't really seem to show up in pic#5. ... moreIt's not dirty(I washed it) I think it was excess linseed oil from the irons that the bag sat on top of. The stains show up as a light black.
