PIKE POLE END HOOK FIRE AND RESCUE FIREMAN CAST IRON 9 1/2 INCHES NEEDS POLE
I found this at a recent barn sale in Lebanon. NJ. It is a wonderful end to a pike pole used for fighting fires. At first I thought it may have been used to pull large fish onto a boat but later realized it is what I mentioned earlier. It is a very nice and I believe rare find. It has four holes for placement onto a pole. As you can see in the third photo. It s marked with a P. The cast iron is heavy and has a nice blueish grey patina. There is just a slight bit of rust. It has been cleaned inside and out. This is an excellent piece for the collector of fire fighting pieces. Size: 9 1/2 inches long and a 1 1/4 opening for a pole. Hurst Amkus Jaws of Life Hydraulic Power Unit Fireman Rescue with Honda Motor NR
NO RESERVE! BUY IT NOW! You are bidding on a jaws of life gas-powered hydraulic motor unit. Unfortunately. Most of the stickers have worn off or come off this unit, so I am not sure who made it. It is probably a Hurst or Amkus. Also, I have no idea what the HP is of the engine other than it is a Honda. Two hydraulic hose connections are included as shown. You can connect 2 tools at once, but must use the selector switch to either operate tool A or tool B one at a time. Approximate weight is 65 pounds, and overall size is about 15" by 16" by 13" This is a great, portable unit. Power unit has been fully tested and works great. We personally connected several tools to both hoses on the motor unit and everything works fine. I did test the pump with both Hurst and Amkus tools and had no problems. The hydraulic unit cranks easily ... moreand runs good. Equipment shows expected cosmetic wear from normal use. Rare Signed Peter Friedling Bronze Sculpture Fire Fighter Fireman Rescue Art
Measuring 8 7/8 inches tall. I can not find another Peter Fielding bronze like this. Great detail and in like new condition, this stunning bronze will look great on your mantle. Very heavy, 14.8 lbs to be exact. The only thing wrong with this bronze is it's not bolted to the base anymore but it does come with the marble base you see in the pictures.
