Up for auction is a Steelcase brand COACH leather office chair. The model number is 462COACH4. This is a very rare and a very limited edition chair which was only made for about two years. The seating material is genuine COACH leather. What's rare is this specific combination- the leather is a saddle brown color. And the metal base and arms are polished chrome. It is a gorgeous and luxurious chair. The less desirable(and much cheaper) combo came with black leather and black metal pieces. That combination was much more common as it was cheaper and easier to find. This specific chair you see here retailed for $2,400 new. It is in excellent condition and shows very little sign of wear. The only wear is on the top of the right armrest, which shows some light scuffing from where it came in contact with the underside of a desk. Those arms are ... moreeasily replaced and is a standard piece among Steelcase chairs and because it is NOT leather. The armrest need not be replaced as the scuffing is very minor.
