This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. This item, when boxed, weighs about 25 lbs. and will be disassembled(hopefully ... morein two pieces) when shipped to keep the cost of shipping reasonable. I can send additional photos if requested. It measures 24 to 32" to the top of the seat with the backrest adding another 12" to the height. The feet will be 16 to 18" apart depending on the setting. The stool is in used condition& has scratches and some rust as shown. The bottom of the adjustable legs are also rusty but they swivel to sit flat on the floor. The backrest can slide forward or back. I can't make out the name other than it says backrest under it. I do not know the age of the stool. Despite its flaws. It is still a great sturdy stool. These are the large 22" saddle they have the standard cylinder that goes from 17.5"s to 22.75"s the base is graphite and 22"s the color seems to be the lotus fabric in the shale color but I might be wrong. These were 377 each plus shipping configured this way. Humanscale has a great website. The lever to move them up and down is at each corner so there is no feeling around to find it. All three are in almost exactly the same condition-slightly used very minor staining and this is commercial fabric so it cleans well and easily. All of the hydraulics work like new. Ask Questions.
