All solid wood frame-looks to be mahogany- Material is green soft but firm leather. Bottoms are marked with a metal plate reading Saybolt-Cleland Phil. This postmaster's desk was created by Standard Furniture Co. of Herkimer, NY. The chair was made by W.H. Gunlocke Chair Co. of Wayland, NY. Both are tiger oak, I believe. The desk is comprised of 4 sections: base. Top, cubbies and rolltop. There are some stains and scratches, but the desk is in incredible shape for its age. There are some pieces of veneer missing, but we have some of them. Two brass foot casings are missing in back, but we do have one of those, also. The desk has pullout panels left and right. I am very picky about upholstery. And this chair looks new and fresh. I gave it a good cleaning and really like the solid weave cloth on this. And the foam. The chair swivels but doesn't have a tilting base. The stretch green seat cover is 100 percent original. And needed only vacuum cleaning. The color is more forest green than teal. The chair has tacks around the edging. On the bottom under the wood legs are four brass covered roller feet/ the rollers will be removed for shipping. I recommend when you place them back on they be glued in placed for security. The seat in the pictures has a dark small spot- it is where I cleaned a tiny spot off and it hadn't dryed yet before pictures were taken. Vintage 1960s 70s Green Executive Office Desk Chair Retro Rolling Chic Tall Back
The following auction is for a vintage Olive Green Executive Office Chair. It is used and shows some wear. I don't see a manufacturer name anywhere on it.So I am not sure who made it. The chair is a swivel chair on 4 legs with casters. The chair has some stains on the back and the seat. There is one on the back.But towards the cushion,where you sit.It looks like a coffee stain ran down it. I don't know if this will come out. There are also a few light marks and stains on the seat and back. There is There are no rips or tears on the back of the seat or the cushion. There is a worn spot in the bottom corner of the front cushion. Its not really a tear,it just looks like it is worn in that corner. There are tears on the corners of the arms and on some of the other corners. The arm in the front looks the worst. It looks like it is pulling ... moreaway from the stitching or stapling.
