American made, SOLID OAK Roll Top desk has an elegant and distinguished raised panel exterior, a wonderful, warm oak patina and is equipped with abundant space to store your or personal work out of sight! This piece is in excellent condition and shows minimal wear that would be less than expected given its age(estimated 40 yrs old) The desk has its original finish; I have not restored or treated this wood in anyway. I have used the desk for about 7 years and love it ... morebut my career requires a client facing. Half-round desk. All drawers. Locks and doors work smoothly. Drawers sides, back and dividers are also solid oak. It is well built and high quality and comes with 2 keys to lock it. This desk easily comes apart into 4 pieces and the drawers come out for transportation. There is a central back panel the same size as the chair opening which includes a hidden storage area below it. The structure of the 39 compartments and 7 drawers are as follows: TWENTY EIGHT MULTI-SIZED DRAWERS 28 drawers. Each with brass nameplate hardware w/finger pull or brass knob. These vary in size. These chairs were made in forest city. North Carolina. Made in 1966. Pat. No. 2,913,208. We got these out of an old optometry office. Everything functions great, just needs a good cleaning.
