Vintage, Walnut Herman Miller, George Nelson Designed 2 Pedestal Executive Office Desk and was most likely built between 1958 and 1963. The desk is from the Herman Miller Company’s Executive Office Group 8000 Series and is model 8865. The left pedestal has two drawers, an upper storage drawer and a lower file drawer. The right side is a 3-drawer pedestal. The"floating" desktop measures 84 inches long and 36 inches wide and has a height of 29.5 inches. The attached privacy screen is in excellent condition. The desk is marked on two of the drawer ... morehandles with the Herman Miller name and logo, and has labels inside of two drawers that designate it as a George Nelson design. All of the drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked. There are 3 keys for the 2 locks. There are some small scratches, drill holes, tiny areas of veneer loss, an area of white paint, and areas of light fading. Holes were drilled into the top front of each pedestal to install plastic brackets to hold electric cords and two holes were drilled into the bottom of each pedestal. Overall this Herman Miller/George Nelson walnut desk is in very good vintage condition. See Photos) This desk easily disassembles for transport. The top can be removed with 6 bolts and the two pedestals are attached to the modesty screen with a few screws. According to the 1961 Herman Miller product brochure the 84 x 36 inch desk top is the largest available and weighs 110 pounds. Transportation will be the responsibility of the buyer. Rhone-Poulenc desk set in a beautifully finished 100% walnut box. Has label on bottom that reads"Alcraft asi 33910" Genuine American Walnut. When you open the box you can see the solar powered calculator. Post it pad and pen. All are in specially hollowed out spaces in the box. The calculator spot is lined with green felt as is the inside top of the front cover. Rhone-Poulenc emblem proudly displayed on the top cover. There is a small scratch under this emblem and one more to the left of it. Both are visible in my photos. I do not believe this set has ever been used. However the pen does not write. The ink appears to have dried out. The pen works mechanically but an ink cartridge will need to be purchased and installed. The walnut case is 7" x 6" and is 2" deep. The calculator is approx. 4" x 3"

The chair has tacks around the edging. On the bottom under the wood legs are four brass covered roller feet/ the rollers will be removed for shipping. I recommend when you place them back on they be glued in placed for security. The seat in the pictures has a dark small spot- it is where I cleaned a tiny spot off and it hadn't dryed yet before pictures were taken. I am not sure whether or not the material is leather or vinyl so please view the pictures provided. Vintage 1960s 70s Green Executive Office Desk Chair Retro Rolling Chic Tall Back
The following auction is for a vintage Olive Green Executive Office Chair. It is used and shows some wear. I don't see a manufacturer name anywhere on it.So I am not sure who made it. The chair is a swivel chair on 4 legs with casters. The chair has some stains on the back and the seat. There is one on the back.But towards the cushion,where you sit.It looks like a coffee stain ran down it. I don't know if this will come out. There are also a few light marks and stains on the seat and back. There is There are no rips or tears on the back of the seat or the cushion. There is a worn spot in the bottom corner of the front cushion. Its not really a tear,it just looks like it is worn in that corner. Mid Century Danish Modern teak executive floating desk designed by Kai Kristiansen. The desk measures 5ft long x 28.5" tall x 28 3/4" deep. This desk has not been refinished. There are many surfaces scratches in the top and around the unit. Please enlarge each photograph and inspect them carefully as they are part of the description. The desk has 3 bookshelf boxes on the back. Original. There were two skeleton key locked doors on each end, with the center open. There was one door missing when I bought this, so I removed the doors on each side and filled in the lock and screw holes. You can see these old spots in pictures 7& 8.
