Vintage 1960s 70s Green Executive Office Desk Chair Retro Rolling Chic Tall Back
The following auction is for a vintage Olive Green Executive Office Chair. It is used and shows some wear. I don't see a manufacturer name anywhere on it.So I am not sure who made it. The chair is a swivel chair on 4 legs with casters. The chair has some stains on the back and the seat. There is one on the back.But towards the cushion,where you sit.It looks like a coffee stain ran down it. I don't know if this will come out. There are also a few light marks and stains on the seat and back. There is There are no rips or tears on the back of the seat or the cushion. There is a worn spot in the bottom corner of the front cushion. Its not really a tear,it just looks like it is worn in that corner. There are tears on the corners of the arms and on some of the other corners. The arm in the front looks the worst. It looks like it is pulling ... moreaway from the stitching or stapling. There are some pinholes(literally.Like someone stabbed a pin) in the arms. They are on the top of the arms,where you would rest them. This is a vintage executive chair made by Leathercraft. It was found last Summer in the estate of an elderly banker. I was told that when he retired they let him keep his chair. It has been in our home as a decorator piece for about 6 months(We are smokers so please note) I don't know much about vintage furniture. I did some internet research on Leathercraft& their new chairs cost up to $4000 depending on color. Details, etc. It stands 40" tall from the floor to the top of the back. The seating area between the arms is about 19 1/2" It does have wear& damage on edges& corners. Someone(not me) put the metal protectors on the back& they are not even. I'm not sure if the roller wheels are original but they are the wheels I got with it.
