The pulls appear to be old cut wood thread spools, 2 are from the old Berksire& Beckett Silk Co, one has some type of"Clark" label worn off& the 4th is unmarked. There is one round hole underneath the the pull of both the top& bottom right drawers. I also had a question about the stain on the bottom, I am not sure if it is oil or water. A 5 drawer section that has 1 broken drawer and a section that has 2 pull out shelf pieces to rest things on.The hardware is all present with the exception of the broken drawer which is missing it's label bracket/pull.All the rods are there inside each drawer.The cabinet does not have a finished top.It is made to stack on top of other pieces and it had the rounded ledges down each side to hold steady when stacked.I still have those but I took them off and placed a cut to fit piece of pine in the opening so the top would be flat.When I put a coat of just paint thinner on the cut to fit piece it will match in color.I will do that today.My husband can make a solid top for the price of the lumber if wanted.It won't be hard to do yourself.Just find a piece of pine(pine seems to match perfectly) and cut it the same size as the actual top and screw, nail it or glue it down.On the

Vintage US Post Office Wood flat file cabinet w/brass pulls Tiger Oak?18 drawer
Here's a wooden filing cabinet in good condition. Beautiful original finish(tiger oak perhaps? with brass pulls. All wood construction except for metal drawer bodies. There's a metal tag inside with a serial number and"USPO Dept" affixed to the interior of the cabinet. The body of the cabinet has some insect damage on the underside- floor is thin and has some holes in the corner as pictured. But it doesn't affect function. One drawer corner chipped, and one of the pulls is missing a screw and is slightly bent. This is a heavy. Quality cabinet. Measures 33" wide x 17" deep x 13" tall. Thanks for looking!

A Great Antique Shaw Walker 4 drawer wooden filing cabinet. It has the dovetail joints and the"Shaw Walker" name on the top. One drawer has the metal card holder. The other 3 do not. Please see pictures) There are two slight cracks in the bottom of two drawers. It does have wear consistent with it's age. There are knicks. Marks, dings, finish loss, a crack here or there, and the one side does have a black substance(looks to be old glue from some type of label) on it, as seen in the picture. The pulls are wooden with a screw in the center. The pulls appear to be old cut wood thread spools, 2 are from the old Berksire& Beckett Silk Co, one has some type of"Clark" label worn off& the 4th is unmarked. There are 15 drawers and all are dove tail. There are surface scratches and a some deeper ones on it. The pulls are brass and this is not a reproduction. The drawers glide easily open and closed. No sticking at all. Nice smooth drawer open and closing. Blond wood. Most likely maple, but not positiv e. All 15 drawers are dove tailed and glide smoothly. They all have(probably brass) finger pulls with label holders. Heavy. Solid construction(weighing 88 LBS) with a very nice patina. It measures 32" long. 17" depth and 13" high. Here is the other old 4 drawer wood file cabinet that I have listed. This one is not oak. I'm not sure what the cabinet is constructed. Possibly birch. The dimensions are 51" x 25" x 17" and it does not have file folders. The finish is however very nice. All drawers work fine and there are no major blemishes. It is 48 1/2inches tall. 25 inches deep and 17inches wide.The cabinet is in fair condition, it has 3 chunks of wood out of 3 of the 4 rear back corners. Antique Vintage Library Bureau Sole Makers 4-Drawer Wood Oak File Cabinet
For auction is one beautiful vintage 4-drawer quarter-sawn oak file cabinet from the early 1900s. It is in fantastic original condition. The finish is original and has only minor nicks and scratches. The brass hardware retains its original patina. And all hardware is accounted for. Each drawer has a dark green metal adjustable divider inside, and the top drawer has the original LBSM patent decal inside the drawer face. All metal glides operate smoothly. The finish is slightly lighter inside the label holders. There is also a slightly darker area on the top towards the front left of the cabinet(see photo) There is only one side panel. But it is reversible, so assuming the file cabinet is placed with one side against a wall, you can use the side panel on whichever side faces the room. There is a date stamp on the inside(JUN 15 1922) which I assume is the date of manufacture. Solid wood custom made locking map blueprint flat file cabinet
This is a solid wood map/blueprint cabinet with 7 locking drawers. It was custom-made by a company called Parker. Which I can't tell you much about as I am not the one for whom it was custom-made. Very strong& sturdy piece, of high quality. It is in very good cosmetic condition overall, with only a few surface scratches. There is a small chip on one of the corners. All of the locks work great, and the unit will come with 2 keys. The drawers slide smoothly. Be sure to bring along a strong friend or several weak ones, as loading this thing is not a one-person job and I'm not much help. It weighs something like 150-200 pounds and is 46.5" wide, 33.5" tall and 25" deep. Up for auction is this great Yawman& Erbe index card holder. As you can see from the pictures the piece could use a little love but it is extremely solid- the drawers open and shut as designed and the tab to support the index cards will move back and forth as supposed to. Aside from the small area on the back of the piece where a piece of the wood chipped off. All of the original wood is in nice condition. Very nice quality dovetailing on the top and bottom of the piece as well as on the front and back of each drawer. The overall dimension of the piece are 15" wide x 17' deep x 6" tall. Top Section Stackable Bookcase & Drawer File Cabinet GLOBE Oak Wood 1930's
This Was the top section of a GLOBE stackable Bookcase. It has drawers as seen in photos. This was found all by itself sitting in an old barn here in California. It is not in the best of shape as you can see by my detail photos. It will need to be restored if you are planning on using it once again as it was intended. The one side of the cabinet was sitting close to an ope door. So it shows weathering to the wood and metal strap. It has chips to the wood, cracks and will need some glue to make this all come back together. I am trying to be right up front with those looking at the auction that this will need restoration. Gaylord Bros Inc. 60-Drawer Card Catalog Cabinet This beautiful cabinet was recently removed from a middle school that is scheduled for demolition. The cabinet comes apart into four sections for easy moving. Each section has 15 drawers. There is also a base/riser section. Two pull-out table sections, and a top cap. There is a mix of wood and plastic drawer bodies. I would guess that two of the units came with wood drawers and two were added later with plastic drawers. All of the drawer faces are the same, though if you look very closely the guide rod is slightly different in appearance. One guide rod is missing and a couple are loose or slightly bent. The top of the cabinet shows some wear. I also noticed some damage around one of the clips that helps align the sections when they are stacked up, but it is not visible when the units are stacked. ... moreOtherwise it has survived decades of middle school use in very nice condition. This is a rolling File Cart or Cabinet with heavy faux wood veneer formica doors. And a chromed steel frame with a steel cabinet enameled Whitish Beige. This was made by Oxford in probably the 1960s period, measures 18 1/2 by 28 in. by 25 in. tall. Up for auction is this great 4 drawer Library Index Card Cabinet. It appears to be maple wood- very nice overall condition. All of the hardware appears to be original. Very clean for it's age. The drawers are all dovetailed- excellent solid construction. The size is meant to hold 3" x 5" index cards. The overall dimensions of the piece are approx 17" deep x 9.5" tall x 14" wide.
