It adjusts in height by spinning the seat. It also adjusts at the back and the headrest. Adjusts from seat height 15 1/2" to 19 1/2" high. Seat is 16" side to side( 17 inches all the way to the edge) by 14 to 14 1/2 inches front to back and 2" high; seat back is 14 inches side to side by 7 inches up and down and 1 1/2" thick; wheels are 1 1/2" and distance between legs is 18 inches. This is a fabulous vintage 20s industrial school desk. It is made of cast iron with a wood top. It has many uses. As a table or storage piece. The desk measures 30" tall, it is 23-3/4" wide and 18" deep. The height can be adjusted. It has a pencil tray and it has a knob brace to hold the top open. It is in excellent condition. On inspection it shows some vintage scuffs or scratches and a stain. There is a split to the wood on the left side and there are screw holes on the upper right top.
