The top as seen in picture 4 has a corrugated look to it. The wood base is about 5 1/4" X 3 1/4" Overall height is about 4 3/4" The thermometer itself is about 4" across. This is a very nice and large work desk which can accomodate two workstations and still have a lot more space for printers. Copiers or whatever. The desk is just over 10 feet long on the longer side and just over 7 1/2 feet long along the shorter side. It is about 2 feet wide. Except on the corner where it gets wider for the turn. The desk has a very nice reddish tone to the color. I was told that it was mahogany. But I don't know. It has a few scuffs and scratches, but would look awesome if it were polished up. Here is an Awesome Vintage Desk Organizer Mail Box or Holder with drawer. It measures 10.5" H x 11.5" W x 5.75" D. I painted it black and distressed it as well. It has not been sealed. So as to keep the chalky finish. It is solid wood, and I believe to be pine. I have never seen one of these before. I orginally fixed it up for my industrial office. But I have so much now, I need to let go. I have never used this. I don't have any idea how old it is. But it's a really cute piece. I especially like the drawer feature.
