DANISH MODERN AB ELLYSETT LAMP MID CENTURY MADE IN SWEDEN We are offering this rare AB Ellysett lamp made in Sweden. The solid wood base holds a 3-teir shade made of very think strips of wood bent in circles. It's in mint condition except for a little bend in the lower tier that caused a 2 inch crack in the wood. Plus a tiny nick in the top tier, see photos. It's the perfect size for a bedside or desk lamp at only 12 inches tall and 8 inches wide. It uses a standard size bulb. When I purchased it at an estate sale it had the original paper tag on the underside, but I lost it somewhere along the way. If I can find it of course I will give it to you, but either way I guarantee it to be an Ellysett original. The nickel plating on the bell is pretty worn but still displays well. The bell features a twist knob for ringing with a sound quite similar to that of an early telephone bell. The bottom has a shaved cut to allow it to not only not roll, but also give it a slight tilt backwards to allow easier reading of the time. I have also pictured the inside showing the movement with the battery cover off to assure you there has never been any battery leakage damage.
