Early 1900's Children's School House Desk Marked with Grand Rapid Michigan. This is a#5 school house desk. It stands 23" high at the desk side and 12" high at the bench side. Both the bench and desk are 19" long and 12" deep. Overall dimensions are 19" wide x 24" long x 23" high Bench folds up. There is also a shelf under the desk. Overall the condition is excellent. There are some child's carvings into the top of the desk but it came from a child's play room so it was an in use item. One corner of the bench is chipped as seen in the photos. Here's a pretty rare SHEAFFER DESK PEN BASE. Cast metal ART DECO cat black cat regally seated atop a tall base. This base is from about 1930 and I think it has with it a later SHEAFFER socket. I've included a generic black pen as it works and fits the socket. The cat in my experience is hard to find being the only one I've come across over the years. Noted by eminent SHEAFFER expert and collector in this field(and my occasional helpful critic) as the"definitive Sheaffer base, this cat stand is just about 8" tall and is wonderful stepped design that looks like it is right out of ancient Egypt. The metal is non-ferrous white metal(possibly zinc) and is all over black enameled. All spots or white areas are lint, dust or light reflection and poor cleaning. No dents, chips or other flaws. The Sheaffer socket is probably of ... morea later era, though the installation does look original. Mid-level ring on the socket is loose. With original rollers Chair base is 18" high in its current position but can be adjusted. Many of the parts are cast aluminum. Seat, legs, seat pan back and removable back plate. I would guess this to be WWII vintage stamped union made on base and has sort of an aircraft look and feel. I took off the seat and back cushions to get better look at construction of chair these can be used as a pattern to make new seat covers. Some surface rust great original look I would leave it. Stunning Jens Risom Style Desk Circa 1970's This stunning desk Has an unmarked top in perfect condition. This is because there was a piece of glass on the piece since it was purchased, the glass is available if you want it. To the left there are three draws, at the top the first draw has many wood dividers that are adjustable, below are two other draws which are both deeper than the top with other wood dividers in both. To the right the top draw is an identical to the left, below is a large filing cabinet with plenty of space, all draws run smooth. The pulls are all metal and insert right into the draw so when they are in the open position you can see the full square of the metal, looks nice. The legs are also metal with a thin groove running down all the legs. Condition- The top of this item is in near perfect condition. Legs are a little ... moremarked in places but mainly scratches. The back and sides are in good condition. Pulls look good with some slight signs of wear. Inside the some of the draws there are a few marks and signs of wear. Vintage Mid Century Modern Metal Wire Vanity Desk Side Chair White Leather
Vintage White and brown Metal Wire. Vanity side desk Chair/ Seat/ Measures approx. 30.5 in. tall from the floor to the top of the back, 17 in. tall from the floor to top of seat and 16 in. across the seat. 17 inches deep. Seems to be the original white leather or vinyl in surprisingly good condition. Does have a few stray marks. But nothing serious. Also the rubber feet are missing off the legs. Neat vintage design and decor piece. Will be partially disassembled for shipping.

Wooden classroom desk and chair unit for a right handed student. With metal legs and supports. Vintage, possibly 1970's or early 1980's. The height of this desk and chair unit is 32.25" maximum(top of the back) the seat is abut 17" from the ground, and the desk is about 27" from the ground. Consists of small platform for desk(about 23.5 inches long x 11.5 inches wide, and about 3/4" thick) and wooden seat(about 17" x 15 7/8" and about 3/4" thick) with wooden back(6.25" high x 16" in length, x 7/8" thick) attached together with the metal supports that also include the 4 metal legs.The wood has some patina and shows some surface wear and other wear from age, including some scratches on the desk surface. The wood and the metal is sturdy and looks good having some patina. If purchased ... morefor use, could use some restoration with smoothing and varnishing on the desk surface and restoration such as some varnish and slight gluing of some wood layers of the back. Stands solidly however needs two metal or rubber caps on the base of the front two legs.
