I dont know allot about this chair but I am sure it is older probably vintage 1950.S. The legs are made of leaf spring steel and the seats are wire mesh that flex when you sit on them. I restored them by disassembling them sand blasting them and powdercoating them. there is some damage to one of the chairs and I took a picture of it to illustrate. some of the wire has corroded all the way through on one chair back but the chair is still usable and you have to look really closely to see the damage area. the listing is for booth chairs.

You'll be the envy of all the beachgoers in this spiffy 1950s sand chair. Sturdier than most. I believe the red frame is steel and the seat and backrest are the original red and white striped mesh. It isn't the most compact folding chair I've ever seen; folded it measures(very approximately) 29-1/2" X 21-1/2" X 9" but it isn't terribly heavy, about 5-1/4 pounds, is easy to carry and can be hung a number of different ways. It is an estate piece. Circa 1950s, and after a lot of searching I've been unable to find another like it. It has been used but considering its 60+ year age I would consider it to be in outstanding condition. There is some wear/paint loss on the metal but most of it is on the bottom rungs, the parts that sit on the ground. The hinges are in fine working order. There are no dings or dents ... morethat I can see. The mesh is in excellent condition with random tiny light discolorations, probably acquired in storage over the years.
