I don't know the maker, but there's a metal tag on the back with other info-see last photo. This is pretty sturdy-not much give when wiggled. There are some small chips in the wood here and there, notably underneath the front edge of the seat(can only be seen from underneath) Some small separation in the sections of wood on the seat, but not too bad. There's a missing wooden plug and small cracks in each of the side braces, but they still seem sturdy. There's a small crack or split across the back where the metal label is. The nailed label comes off easily, but I'll tape up. Much of the finish has worn away. Chair is cosmetically challenged. For local pickup in Northern Virginia. This is a great chair that just needs some TLC. It was purchased from a Washington. DC, flea market in the 80's and is made by W. H. Gunlocke Chair Co. in Wayland, NY. Though it's basically sturdy and functional(we've been using it) some of the joints need tightening because the chair wiggles some when moved forward/backward. The four sections of wood on the seat have separated a little, notably in the center. On a few edges-the top and sides of the backrest-the wood has chipped. Much of the finish has worn away. For sale is my beautiful Zody office chair from Haworth. The chair is in excellent condition. Showing very little wear. I dare to say it is in much better condition than any of the other zody chair listings here on ebay. This is the premium version with the polished aluminum swivel base, not the cheap painted version. In addition this chair features all of the available ergonomic features, including the lower pelvis support and the 50/50 split horizontal and vertical adjustable lumbar support structure, that most other chairs listed on ebay are missing! In addition this chair features the fully adjustable armrest upgrade, allowing the perfect ergonomic adjustment for every body size. These armrests do not only adjust vertical in height, you can also rotate them in and out plus slide them forward, backwards, inward and outward! The seat cushion ... morealso has a forward backward slide adjust. The seat is height adjustable, can recline or be locked in position. Furthermore the reclining resistance is adjustable via a little crank. The seat cushion is trimmed in a nice business suit like grey fabric, while the backrest features a grey mesh fabric, allowing a little bit of a see through. Here we have a very cool vintage/antique banker chair by W.H. Gunlocke out of New York. This chair dates back between the 1940's-1960's per the label. Actual year of making I am not sure. Was owned by Virginia National Bank many many years ago and has their logo on the leg. Along with Gunlocke logo on the back area and the paper label on the bottom. Seat and back rest are a funky green. Seat is a burlap/ tweed type fabric. The back rest is leather or a vinyl type of material. Chair seat could use cleaning and the rest of the chair has some light scratches and use issues. Nothing beyond the normal wear and tear. A great rare vintage collectable. 1900s- 1920s Bankers Antique Solid Quartersawn Oak Wood Swivel Milwaukee Chair Co. Chair. Unique early 1900s office chair with solid"single" wood piece legs. Typically multiple wood pieces are laid up and glued together then cut to make the legs. This is a sign of great craftsmanship in furniture building. Lots of beautiful quartersawn oak on all pieces. One of a kind. The manufacture's mark on the cast iron base says patent applied for. So this is much earlier than other Milwaukee chairs showing the patent date of 1914. Vtg Industrial GF Goodform 2157 Aluminum Metal Office Swivel Desk Chair McM
For auction is one original GF Goodform model#2157 in excellent original condition. The gray vinyl is original with nary a stitch out of place and no rips or tears. The aluminum has only minor scratches and wear from normal use. And has been cleaned and polished. All mechanical adjustments function properly, and the casters roll smoothly. The entire chair has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed and is ready for immediate use. It even has all four black rubber caps(two over the back pad screws, and two for the adjustable back pad resting posts.
