This is a very nice antique/vintage brass desl lamp.The lantern is a lovely art noveau design. the sculptured brass has openings for the light bulb to shine through the textured glass.The top of the lantern is about 7 inches square.The lantern is 14 inches from top to bottom. The gooseneck is 36 inches from the lantern to the top ofr te base.Their is a well just before the base which appears to be missing something. I had a brass bowl that I inserted ad it looks like it belngs there.This is a rare vintage/antique desk lamp.The off and on switch is on the base which has an art nouvea design.he base is35 inches in diameter ande the electrical cord is about 40 inches long. This antique bird claw magnifying glass desk accessory is very unusual. I was told it was to be silver over brass. The magnifying glass circumference is brass. There are no markings on it. It is quite heavy for it's size at 7 oz's. It is from my grandmother's estate and we believe it to be at least from the early 1900's. It is in good condition. It measures 6"L X 1 3/4W. Available is a vintage partners desk. We are moving and it is time to down-size. Partners desks have drawers on both sides. This has beautiful detailing to the feet and legs. I don't know the type of wood it is made from. It is good and solid. It was purchased at an estate sale some 40+ years ago. I don't know the year it was made. But it is not new. Here are the measurements: about 65 inches long, about 35 inches wide and about 30 inches tall. The desk comes with a heavy-duty glass top. It does not come with a chair. This is a Bradley& Hubbard art nouveau desk lamp. It is unsigned but is of the typical casting quality and style of Bradley& Hubbard pieces. It is a heavy bronze cast material and has wonderful patina. The cord has been replaced at some point in time and the plug is still original. One of the slag glass panels has a crack in it but it would be easy to have another piece of slag glass cut of the same color shade and fit into the lamp as this glass is a flat panel. The decorative filigree is in perfect condition. There are no cracks anywhere and absolutely no missing pieces. This lamp is unlike another B&H nouveau desk lamp on eBay that has chunks of filigree missing and badly damaged glass with a high asking price. My lamp has a reasonable reserve. Up for your consideration is this vintage desk inkwell stamped 59 on the bottom of the glass. The lid has a small chip which I show in the last two photos. I've seen these as listed as a school desk inkwell and I've seen them listed as a Singer sewing desk#42 inkwell. I'm not sure which it is. It measure approx. 1 7/8" high and 2" wide.
