The stool extends about 19.5" from the wall and the seat is 12" around. The bracket that mounts to the wall is 10" tall and a little under 1.5" wide. The bracket allows the arm to swing around horizontally to the desired position. The mounting holes in the bracket are 7/16" and spaced 8 3/4" apart on center. Vintage Office Chair. Metal Rolling Swivel, Do More Industrial Machine Age Great Art Deco lines in this vintage office chair! This model appears in Do-More's old advertising starting in the 1930's. But I can't find any dates on this chair. It is really comfortable to sit in- The chair swivels and has casters for rolling around. The back rest also swivels completely around. I could not figure out how to adjust the seat level. The upholstery is a tweed type material in green. The outdoor photos show the color the best. The steel base and back supports are painted brown. Approximate Measurements: Seat 17.5" wide by 12.5" deep. Cushion is about 3" thick. Backrest 13.75" wide by 7" high. I have it at the lowest setting and the chair is about 20" off the ground. Antique Operators Stool - Industrial Barstool - Drafting Chair- Bentwood-Vintage
Available here is the fourth of four antique industrial stools I am listing. This beautiful stool was probably used by a telephone switchboard operator or possibly by a architect as a drafting chair. This would be perfect as a repurposed barstool! The stool body is completely made out of wood. Unlike many of the later versions. The swivel mechanism is steel. It dates to the early 1900's. Probably between 1910 and 1915. The stool is in good functioning condition. The chair height is adjustable by swiveling it one way or the other. The caning is in good shape. And it supported me(pushing 200 lbs) without issue. It features a flared four-legged base with intact and stable heel ring. Supported by bent wooden rods affixed to the base legs. It has a contoured backrest. The footrest has what looks like a splinter in the wood, but this was how ... morethe chair was originally crafted. The wood is wrapped around the base and the split is where the ends connected. The seat diameter is approximately 16.5" and the footrest diameter is approximately 18.25" When the chair is swiveled to its lowest position the seat is approximately 28" from the floor. I have listed 3 other matching stools and would be willing to make a deal for all of them. This is listed as local pick up only. I can safely store this for a reasonable amount of time in Kansas City. Shipping may be available through UPS. They would do the packing and fully insure it. Michigan in the 1950s. The stool is very structurally solid and mechanically works great but the wood stool has lots of patina such as small hairline cracks. 1940's Steelcase Metal Office Furnitue Co. Adjustable Office/Drafting Chair
This old Steelcase task/office/drafting chair is in fansastic condition. As the original vinyl( is in near mint condition and the brown paint paint looks so sharp on most of the chair. There is some wear to the paint in some areas, mostlu on top of the bent legs, but also a little on the backrest and the backrest frame(see pic's) There had been some tape on the backrest which has been removed, but the mastic is still there and could be removed(I was unsure what to use) The original casters have a stamp on them saying they were patended 9/42 and they appear to be made of stainless steel, although there is some pitting and surface rust(pic's) It looks like there are 3 spotw where the vinyl has been riveted to the metal seat base plate. The chair is ready to use! It has a Great metal frame with brown leather upholstery- all original. It's a good early one! There is no maker's mark on it but I am 99% certain that it is a DoMore chair, as I have had several in the past and they looked just like this one. Looks to be 1920's or 30's vintage. Rare to find with original upholstery in such good condition. The chair is fully adjustable. The seat can be raised and lowered and the back reclines using the cool machine age knob below the seat. The padded leather back support is nicely pleated on the backside and also swivels horizontally, as well as adjusts up and down. This is just a great old industrial ... morechair and would work perfectly as a desk chair and would fit nicely in any mid-century modern, steam punk or vintage decor. I'm not sure if this was originally a factory chair, medical or doctors chair, or possibly a drafting chair. Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Adjustable Drafting Chair Metal Wood
This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. This item, when boxed, weighs about 25 lbs. and will be disassembled(hopefully ... morein two pieces) when shipped to keep the cost of shipping reasonable. I can send additional photos if requested. Up for bidding is this cool vintage Toledo adjustable drafting stool in wonderful condition for its age. This stool was probably made in the 1950s. Wood seat and back in great shape with no cracks. Delamination, or damage and finish looks to be original. Winning bidder can decide to remove old paint and light stains and refinish or leave as is. The original paint shows some desired wear and loss. The 4 ball socket feet are intact and show a little rust. Seat height adjusting mechanism is complete and does work. For sale is this set of 4 industrial stools. The stools are in good condition and made of a heavy steel base and have wood seats and wood backs on them. They are stamped on the bottom"Sit-Rite" and made by Edward L. Koenig Co. of Chicago Illinois and are probably from the 1930's or 1940's. The stools are adjustable and measure 41" from the ground to the top of the backrest at their highest point and 31 1/2" to the top of the backrest at their lowest point. From the ground to the top of the seat at the highest point they measure 27" and 17" at their lowest point. I have included pictures to show them at their lowest and highest adjustments. Hardboard top has some paint chipped here, some rust there and scratches on the seat, but it is still very solid and a great, simple piece to look at. Overall this piece measures approximately 31" high. Floor to top of seat is approximately 18” high and the seat itself measures approximately 14” x 14” Stamped. Lyon Metal Products, Inc. Aurora. Illinois” There are no breaks in the welds or the seat… again. Very solid. There was some surface rust on the bottom of the seat. But I wire brushed it revealing NO crazy eaten away metal. Antique Uhl Toledo Industrial Drafting Machinist Stool/Chair Tall w Wood Seat
For sale is a great vintage Toledo stool. It has a nice green and rusty patina. The seat raises from 27 1/4" to 31 3/4" The back height is 42" at the low setting. The spring on the lever to raise and lower the seat has been replaced and is not as rigid as the older spring. The wood on the seat and back has the normal wear scratches and discoloration. 3 very old backless Stackable Shop Stools- untouched. Chippy black solid iron legs- a great look. The base under the seat sets is probably wood underneath the original vinyl cover. The wooden seats are l eft as found and may need recovering. There are 3 strong metal brackets with screws on the bottom which can be unscrewed to repai/recover seat. They have a slightly funky smell from storage in a warehouse. And the top vinyl on 2 is indented from stacked storage. They are all solid. Straight, and firm, a great redo project. This is a used Krueger industrial stool. The chair is 25" tall to seat. With the legs fully extended the seat height is 33" There are 9 different setting to the leg height. You could set the legs so you could sit on a stair case buy adjusting the legs. There are scratches and stain and surface rust the seat has had a few coats of paint on it but I removed it. The chair is very sturdy. The seat is 14" wide.

Vintage Industrial Stool Although this type of stool is adjustable. Some have a double washer locking mechanism inside stand, this one is either down or locks in top position. The height is either 17- 1/2" or 26" Stool seat is 12- 3/4" diameter. The foot print is 22-3/4" square. To get it to go back to bottom position. I must turn stool upside down and grasp base and jiggle, then it slides down. I have not disassembled chair to inspect mechanism inside tube. Some of these stools have a rivet and washer at bottom of tube. This one has a nut. The stool sets level with no rocking. Three of the glides are frozen tight. One spins freely but does not adjust up and down, I have only used my hands, I have not attempted using channel locks or pliers. See pictures for detail.

I have no removed these because it make the chair more comfortable. Dated 1950's on the bottom as shown. Stool swivels. Back is adjustable, seat will adjust 3-4" up/down. It is a sturdy stool, well build during the machine age/mid century modern period. Measures 37" tall at back, is 17" wide, 17" front to back at feet. The wood seat is 15 1/2" by 13 1/2" and adjusts vertically from 19" from the floor to 22" from the floor. It swivels 360 degrees. The curved wood back rest is 13 1/2" by 6" and is not only adjustable horizontally but the top is mounted on springs to move with you when seated.
