This is from the 1950s when my Dad was a machinist at Presto Industries in Eau Claire Wisconsin. The instrument is in smooth working condition. There is some darkening of the metal on one side(maybe where it has rested on the paper or wood for the last 50+ years? but it does not affect the working mechanism. I did not try cleaning it- did not want to gum up the workings! We have downsized and we are thinning our many collections. We pack carefully and ship promptly upon receipt of payment through Paypal.
