This auction is for the above pictured gear motor. I do not know the history behind this motor. I was clearning out an old wooden box of electrical devices and found it. Based on the things in the box this motor may be 15-20 years old. I have listed this as used however. It may have never bin used. This is based on two things(1) the mounting holes have no"bolt" marks in the paint and(2) the output shaft has no set screw marks. I have ran this motor in both directions and it operates find in either direction. Also included with the motor is the Dayton Operating Instructions and Parts Manual. The Leeson AC Gearmotor was on a conveyor that we are no longer using. The conveyor was disassembled but the gearmotor and part of the conveyor were saved. The photos show the motor wired to a box that is then wired to a 110 Volt cord and plug with a power switch on the side of the box. The box is also connected to a sensor that turns the gearmotor on and off. The sensor would detect when a box was taken off the conveyor and move the conveyor until the next box was in place. I am willing to ship the entire assembly or take the motor off and just ship the motor.
