Data plate says that this is a 1650 RPM 1/40 HP electric motor that operates on 115 Volts DC? I think this is an AC motor. I'm no expert though. Offered is a vintage small motor from Bodine Electric company made in Chicago in the USA Bodine motors look like they are well made but if you are looking at this you probably already know that. The motor was in storage for many years. The case has some paint scratches on it as seen in the photos but otherwise in excellent shape. The motor has two black and two blue wire leads coming out of the motor. I applied power to the two black leads and spun the shaft and the motor ran quiet and cool. I believe the two blue leads are the starter leads and are phase shifted to start the motor. I have not done extensive testing on it.
