Made by General Electric Co. of Schenectady, NY. 8" long, 6" diameter, 1-7/8" by 1/2" shaft. Good condition. Obvious wear from age and use. Paint loss, grime, etc. I tested this motor for about a minute. And ran pretty smoothly, with a bit of noise at startup and some hum during operation. I can't predict how long it will continue to run, though, so it might be a good idea to have it serviced if you plan to use it for anything important. The shaft has about 1/32" of end play. The feet don't sit perfectly flat, but that shouldn't be a problem once this is bolted securely to a base. I'm glad to combine shipping ... morewhenever it's feasible(really large or heavy items usually can't be combined) I will ship this item within the United States only. I ran wires to the motor and it was smooth and quiet. This motor has been tested and turns freely. It easily moves the grinding wheel. The motor is made by General Electric and is Model 5KH44HD32X. It is a 1/4hp motor with 115v. The pulley on the end of the motor has a chip as can be seen in the pictures. I ran the motor for a few minutes and the chip did not impact the belt turning. The grinding wheel is very cool. One of the wheels measures 8" in diameter and the other measures 5" in diameter. This is a vintage set-up that is enjoyable to run.
