Up for sale is a very nice used Hix Model 1620 Heat Transfer Swingaway Press with a copy of the original manual. It is used. But has been cleaned, checked out and is ready to be used. The Model 1620 Manual Transfer Machine is 120 volts 15 Amps, Swingaway 16” x 20” heat platen. I have installed a new line cord and plug on the heat press. All the other internal wiring is in excellent condition and there is no harding or cracking on the insulation of the wires. I ran this for about 1-1/2 hours bringing it up to 320 degrees. I set the thermostat at several different setting to insure that it would shut off and turn on as the platen heated or cooled and it worked perfectly. There is some wear on the platen surface and there are some chips to the rubber on the silicone rubber pad(see pictures) This item is for pickup only but I will make delivery ... morefree of charge for a 40 mile radius. PRO-840X Hat Heat Press - Clamshell Style
This machine has only been used 3 times and works as it should. This machine does not come with any users manuals and I am not even close to a heat press expert. So prior knowledge of heat presses, or a users manual that you might be able to find online, would probably be a huge help to you. This is a clamshell model. So it opens straight up and press directly down. I was pressing a baseball cap at about 380 degrees Fahrenheit. So it heats up to pretty high temps. Not designed to open automatically. Ten new sublimation mugs(three beer steins and seven coffee cups) brand new empty sublimation ink cartridges for Epson C88 printers, and a small roll of thermal tape. I do have an Epson C88+ printer that I can throw in if you are interested, but be aware that the print heads are clogged as even with new ink cartridges installed I cannot get a satisfactory test print for any color except cyan.
