This is a 1977 $100 Federal Reserve Note with a" dark offset" error. These are much rarer on a $100 note. Especially with a" full"or complete offset, which this note is. This note is considered a" front to back offset error" graded by PMG 58 AU- EPQ. This note doesn't have any vertical or horizontal folds, the grade comes from a corner fold or this note would have graded CU. This note does have a very small brown mark directly under the error, under the presidents imprint. It isn't that noticeable, but it is outside of the border on the white section of the note under the letter R. These errors are defined by the" darkness" of the offset error, or that is what your looking for when finding these errors. If you look at the"eyes" it is a good way to tell the darkness of these offsets. ... moreI've been told by experts that this note is probably the 2nd or 3rd impression, but to be safe I'm listing it between the 2nd and 4th impression. LazerTran Textile iron-on transfer paper specifically for dark materials. I used a sheet and a half for a project but still have 3.5 sheets available that I won't use because I don't own an inkjet printer anymore. Perfect condition iron on sheets.
