Letterpress Type Lead Metal Lot Spacing, 3 Wickersham Quoins, Gaebel Guage, wood
Up for auction is a lot of letterpress accessories. You will receive everything in the photos. There are two full sets of type. One is lower case, and the other is capital letters. There is also a set of numbers that includes punctuation. The type won't come organized, because I don't know how to do it. They are each separated in their box according to style. The three Wickershire Quoins are a big plus. Paper, ink, and all other items seen in the photos are included. I do not know the proper names of all of it. The type is in exceptional condition, only a few pieces have light ink on them. The photos really don't do it justice. It's a great set of letterpress accessories that anyone will enjoy. This larger quoin is ideal for locking up larger press sizes as well as Proof press beds. Length of quoin is approx. 4 inches long. Early 1900's h.b rouse lock-up quoins A large assortment of early H.B Rouse clean letterpress quoins. All have been tested and operate smoothly. The ones at the bottom or in the last picture have bends in them and can be straightened out there is also an extra wheel included. This is part of my grandfathers estate that we are moving. Lot Vintage Letterpress Printing Rare Warnock Medium & CHALLENGE Quoins
Type Warnock Set of 2(approx. 2 7/8ths"s long) and Challenge Set of 2(approx. 2 3/4" long) Extremely Rare Style Quoins. These have a additional locking design that the challenge and standard design did not have. The Quoins are used and have some very minor wear. The teeth are in excellent operational condition in my opinion.
