Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. A very nice vintage padded 1971 Klein/Buhrke model 5228 linesman's/Ironworker's/tree topper's tool belt. This belt is in excellent condition especially considering how old it is. The leather is soft and pliable and the hardware is in excellent shape. It has double D-rings to attach a wall hook or tree/pole climbing strap and a pliers/dykes/keel tool holster bolted/riveted onto a sewn-in leather strap with 3 holes. The holster is not in as good of shape as the belt. The leather on it feels older and weaker but it would be easy to replace. Opposite the pliers holster is another sewn-in leather strap with 3 holes for attaching another holster or whatever. Lots of leather loops and 4 small D-rings for it looks like attaching suspenders. Spikes are marked with maker along with" LC-5 15 IN 425-Phila 45-55" Leather straps attached to them are in fair aged and used condition with waring to them. Straps are marked with Buckingham. Only tearing I can see is slight to the buckle holes. More like leather cracking or seperating. Belt is in fair condition with no tears to it or fraying. It has 2 metal loops which the climbing rope attaches to. They are in fair shape with sign of use but no cracks. Climbing rope is in fair used condition with little fraying. more like rope being scuffed slightly. Clips on rope are in fair condition and clip properly with clip springs tight. This is a Buckingham linemans belt that fits me. It is dated 9/07. It is unused and in brand new condition but since I needed to put it on ebay it is considered used. I wear a size 34 waist and it fits great. There are 9 holes in the belt to adjust for different size people. I tried it on and used the middle hole so it will fit just about anyone. This is a large belt. There is also a strap that comes with this. Being that it is a leather item. It is a bit on the heavy side for shipping. I know when I bought it earlier this year I paid over $18 to get shipped to Florida. So that is what I will charge for shipping. $18.00. I also bought another belt and used that one 3 times. VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM CLIMBING TREE POLE BELT SAFETY BELT SIZE 22 P/N ER USED
Offered is a vintage BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 42" long to the end hole and 34" to the tightest hole; there are nine holes each an inch apart; however, I wear a 38" belt, and this belt is tight on me probably because of the very thick leather. The condition is used but quite good and has some wear on the edges of the belt. It is marked on a green metal tag with BUCKINGHAM Size 22, Date 897, P/N ER. Also included is a heavy canvas bag 8" x 9" x 2" with straps for fastening to the belt and an outside pocket. This bag is cotton, made in India, and is reinforced at the bottom with a suede type leather. This belt is a very usable safety belt, sold as is, and MADE IN THE U.S.A. BUCKINGHAM 1379 SADDLE Floating dee ring. Double thick cotton webbing reinforced w 1 3/4" nylon on back and seat sections, leather lined 1 3/4" grommeted leg straps, 1 3/4" steel ring and accessory snap on each side. The 3120 Rivet-less pad with a built in tunnel design. A soft leather is used against the leg. All leather construction with 3/4" padding. The original Buckingham tree climber is now available with a ring for strap attachment. The Permanent Gaff is 3 1/2 inches(89mm) long. Stirrup is standard width unless specified otherwise. Up for Auction is this Klein Buhrke Lineman Belt& Strap with their original boxes. Both pieces are used and dated 10-1972 and are in great condition. Belt Model is 5268N and is marked size 18. It also has a tool holder marked 5112. The only flaw I see on belt is a small rivet popped on a clip for holding an extra tool(shown in last picture) which does not affect the structural integrity of the belt. Leather is in great condition. Strap Model is KL-5295 and is in great condition, appears to have some white spots on it(probably paint) Both items have been stored in their original boxes. This is a used Tree Climbing Saddle Harness With Aluminum Spikes And Buckingham Safety Belt. the saddle does have ware as you can see but every thing is in tack and works find this is my on saddle that i use im about a size 32 in the waist and this saddle fits me good on the last hole and if you look in the photo you can see that there are plenty more holes to go up on if you are bigger in the wasit. the safety belt is 6 ft long and the spikes are aluminum and will adjust up and down but i donot have and pads for the spikes
