I would absolutely trust my life with this gear and would feel comfortable using it today if I had the need. Leather is a bit stiff but in tact with the exception of the leg harness on the one side. This would need to be"Magivered" to be used. All that it would need to be used right away would be something like a Velcro strap around the spike piece Stitching is all good All buckles. This is a vintage US Army Signal Corps set from 1951. All buckles are in working order. Spikes are still sharp with original covers. Includes belt. Spikes, and safety strap. The belt fits me at the tightest setting( I am a 32 waist) There is quite a bit of extra adjustment left. The leather needs cleaning, but is overall in good condition. Spikes are marked Buckingham.
