This stove does work. However I needed to first clean the orifice out where the fuel goes to the burner. It then worked fine. Although there didn't seem much of a difference between high and low. Also. The kno b where you turn it on is kind of busted. But it works fine. You can see it in the picture. Maybe the fuel is dirty or something, clogging it up. I'm going to take it apart again this week and see if it will work better. Anyway. Feel free to ask m e any questions and to check up on if it works better after I work on it. If it does not se ll. After it was cool, I lit it again and it worked fine. Then I did it again, and it worked just like it should. I will now pour the fuel out and let it dry out for shipping. I still can't tell any difference between the high setting and the low setting. And don't be careless like me and touch the burner part above the adjustment knob and burn your finger, as it hurts really bad! If you have any questions, just ask. This will be sold as is.

Left to right 249 dated 11/55 on bottom. tank is in very nice shape. Need a good polish. vent has a few chips but has great color. all knobs and valves work. faint green sunrise logo on globe with pyrex on reverse. Has preheat cup for alcohol on generator. Nice for restoration. 234 heavy paint loss on tank but no dents. Nice globe with green"coleman" no sunrise logo, Pyrex made in USA on back. Vent is nice, some chips and cracking but still displays nice for the age. date code on bottle only has"6" on one side and"2" across from it. 242 C. Nice chrome, see pics for 1" dent in tank parallel to tank bottom, see picture. ... moreDent is located between the valve and pump.works and does burn as I have used it recently during power outages. Vintage lantern, AGM, American Gas Machine, model 3705, Kerosene, parafin, 1935
A vintage single mantle lantern. American Gas Machine Co. model 3705, circa 1934-36, made to burn kerosene or white gas. It has a maroon painted steel fount, steel globe base and a maroon enameled ventilator, it also has the very hard to find original mica globe. The pumps on these early models always give me trouble, when tested empty or with gas it leaked pressure but when tested with kerosene it held pressure for days! Test burned with kero it lit easily and burned bright and steady. The fount has scrapes and paint loss but no splits, dents or rust, the mica globe has a few creases but no holes and the vent has a couple small chips out of the enameling. VINTAGE SEARS KEROSENE HEATER STOVE WITH GLASS
Nicely refinshished Kenmore stove by the Sears. Roebuck Company. The heater has been disassemeled and sanded, then refinished in high heat metallic black profefessional stove paint. The globe is in great shape although it does have a couple of bubbles in the glass that would have come from the manufacturer. The original font was in poor condition and has been replaced with a fully functional perfection font. This auction is for an antique kerosene iron in box. The box is discolored and ragged. But it is the original box. The iron is meant as a decoration. I would not recommend it for actual use. It looks like a step along the way to the modern iron. It comes with an ancient jar, some accessories, a packet that has a printed message of how to clean the generators, an asbestos resting pad, a very tattered envelope with an order form, a typed letter to a Mrs. Bernard Smith of Dudley Iowa, and the left margin is filled with printed pictures of their products. There is an envelope with a return address. I think the best part of the iron is a black plate on top of the iron with the Diamond company logo. And the base measures 2 1/8" wide. There are 2 small dents in the top dome, which can be popped out should you decide to do so(I will leave that up to the successful bidder) The burner has a wick and the wick turner works most of the time(a couple of times when I tried it it did not work but that may be due to the wick being so old. They are 5" tall w/burner and extend out 5" Very Cool little lamps! The arms are cast brass and the rest solid brass. The#1 size glass fonts(7/8" fitter)are Old and turn green under a blacklite! They have different Miller burners.I assume one is original and the other an early replacement. Both burners work well, have no damage, set screws for the chimney, and full wicks. The larger one is marked on the wick knob"Miller Co. Made in USA" and has a flip top. Smaller one is marked on knob"E. Miller Co. MERIDEN"does not flip open. There are old solder repairs to the tabs and where the arms connect. None are visible normally. The f igural part of the lamp appear s to be a cold painted bronze/brass type metal. The bird I believe is a Heron surrounded by flowing branches and foliage. Th ese shade is a crystal etched light cranberry pink. The fitting rim and top rim of the frill are smooth glass free from etching. The glass fount is so unusual. It appears like end- of- day glass with spatters of red and yellow over a clear-ish glass then a nice feature to notice is flecks of what appears to be real gold(possibly ... moregold leaf? Definitely look to be pieces of gold coloured metal) I tried to show these in the image s. Rather than sitting in the shade ring the shade is a little smaller in diameter than the gallery fingers(I believe it wa s originally for a gas lamp) However. It sits perfectly central around the inner raised rim of the shade gallery so looks fine and suits the lamp well. It is all how it arrived so Left it that way. Dimensions; 23" tall to top of chimney. Shade is 6" across frill. 5" tall and has a fitting rim just under 2 1/2" Condition; shade is in excellent undamaged condition. Usual fleabites to rough-cut fitting rim, fount is free from damage, as it is hand-blown it is slightly irregular, metal base has what appears to be some(crude) restoration over the years but this is so small it doesn't really stand out until examined at close range, a leaf appears to be missing as there is solder where it may have once been re-applied, the feet of the stork appear to have been broken at some time and soldered back then painted over(looks a lot uglier in the images) unless you are looking you don't see(plus a lot of the leaves and things obscure them)

Antique quack medicine vapo cresolene miniature oil/kerosene lamp, with bottle
For your consideration an antique vapo cresolene lamp. these lamps were used with a burner to dispense"cresolene" vapors into the sick room. I. it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. it is marked"made in the USA" on the bottom. the chimney that I have included is original and displays well. the original chimneys are very difficult to find.the burner is perfect and moves and displays well. it does not include the medicine tray(but there is a seller on ebay that makes replicas) and a vapo cresolene bottle in green glass with cresolene residue in it. this is a great gift for any medical person or lamp collector. JUST FOR MY OWN INTEREST, I PUT A COFFEE POT ON ONE AND IT DID BOIL WATER FOR THE COFFEE.THE PHOTOS SHOW THIS FIRED UP SO YOU KNOW IT STILL WORKS. THE WICK APPEARS FINE AND ALL THE PARTS SEEM TO BE WITH IT AND NOT BROKEN. THERE IS SOME SURFACE RUST, AND THE MICA GLASS IS NOT PERFECT;HOWEVER, IT IS SOME 100 PLUS YEARS OLD AND STILL WORKS EVEN WITH SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS. INSURANCE WILL BE INCLUDED IN SHIPPING CHARGES.
