Aro Self Feed Drill Drilling Unit W/ UNUSUAL SLEEVE pneumatic - taper-lok?
This is one of several items I have listed this week from the estate of a home shop machinist. The drill is marked ARO AUTOMATION TOOL MODEL NO. 8245-350-2 and 2700 R.P.M. and 2 STROKE. I do not have a key for the chuck. It is a Jacobs 7B with 0- 1/4" capacity and does tighten and loosen freely. I don't have a compressed air setup. So I cannot test this drill and it is sold as-is. The sleeve over the chuck is securely fixed. Not loose enough for me to twist or pull it off. The fixture at the end of the sleeve does unscrew. So I photographed that. It is a left-hand thread(unscrews when turned clockwise)

Tricone oil/gas/water well drilling bit 8 3/4. carbide button
good used tricone bit. I don't believe this bit was ever actually used but shows some wear on it. the only problem i can see is that it is missing 1 carbide tooth directly in the center of the wheel. bearings are good and none of the other carbide buttons shows any signs of use. i may deliver personally for a fee but i will not ship. your welcome to come and take a look at it. bit is for sale locally.

It was used mostly for cross holes under 1/16. And slotting 1/32 and smaller slots in Beryllium Copper. As with the other unit I have for up auction, this unit has never been crashed. This unit has only about 50 hours on it since it was rebuilt by a company in Tennessee. Although they did a great job of rebuilding it. They used some paint that didn't hold up to the oil I was using, hence the flaky paint. Please see my other auctions as I will be putting up more ENC-74. ENC-16, ENC-164, ENC-167 accessories.
