Tuthill CCI 9 GPM Gear Pump with Gast 6AM Air Motor, Used, Good Condition
Great working Tuthill CCI 9 series fluid transfer pump with adjustable relief valve driven with a Gast 6AM(4hp) air motor. Pump is a Tuthill CCI 100917-CV rated at 9 gallons per minute at 1750 rpm. Based on 100ssu viscosity@ 50psi. Relief valve is normally set at 100 psi but I backed it off to relieve pressure on the spring when not in use. Relief valve is for overpressure relief only- not a pressure regulator. Inlet and outlet is 1"NPT with a 1"AN fitting on the inlet and 3/4/AN on the outlet. Air and exhaust are 1/2"NPT with a bronze inlet valve and exhaust muffler. All fittings and valves will be removed for shipping to reduce size and prevent damage. If you don't want the fittings or air valve I will omit them and adjust the shipping weight. Pump was used to transfer diesel fuel so was always lubricated during use. ... morePump is reversable by repositoning the gear cover plate and reversing the relief valve. Seals are Viton. Air Motor is a Gast 6AM-NRV-11M rated at 4 horsepower. Max speed 3000 RPM. Max air consumption 128 cfm but will run on much less at low to medium speed. I powered it with a 5hp compressor with no problem. Motor must be lubricated with an air line lubricator or at least with air tool oil before and during use. The reverse side of this cartoon is titled"Friendly Talk With Girls. Sympathetic Advice by Doris Lee. The page edges have been trimmed to eliminate the small tears and scuffs. Paper is brittle. And has yellowed with age. At age 15, he traveled the midwest, finding employment with a foot surgeon, selling baking powder, patented eggbeaters and pictures, plus working as a medicine show barker in a street carnival. The glass on one is about 1/16 thicker than the other. The openings are 1-3/8" in diameter and 1-1/2" in diameter. WEIGHT: They weigh 3.8 and 4.9 ounces each. BLANKS/ GLASS CLARITY: I'm unsure how these blanks were created. There is no sign that they are pressed glass. The glass is bright and clear. CUTTING DETAILS: The unpolished floral engraving is nicely done. It has what I would call moderate depth. CONDITION REPORT(ALWAYS VERY PICKY) The outer rims look to be near perfect with just a couple of minute pinpoint sized nicks on them. Hiding in the side engraved area of each one is a hard to notice pencil point sized nick. They both show minimal signs of wear. FINAL COMMENTS: Please keep in mind that you are getting 2 matching napkin rings for this one bid. Napkin rings like these are definitely hard to find and could easily be considered rare. Baldwin Tuthill & Bolton Band Saw Guide, Hanchett Co. Oliver or Crescent c/1920s
This is a Baldwin Tuthill& Bolton#2 band saw guide marked with Hanchett Mfg Co. made c1910-1920. This is an estate find and the owner said it came off his 36" Oliver band saw. The owner also said it would fit other large saws with the eccentric post system like Crescent. Oliver and others. I assume if you know your saw, you know this will fit. The guide is of obvious quality and is very well made. The thrust bearing is 2 7/8 inches in diameter and has a grease fitting on the back of the post. There is very little wear to the guide and all of the little adjustments work as designed without issues. Most of the original green paint is present. My limited research shows this guide was made in Grand Rapids MI and likely dates from the very early part of the 1900's. This piece was produced in the United States between 1900 to the 1930s. Just after the American Brilliant Period by Tuthill or Pairpoint. It is not stamped, but we have been told that it was made by Tuthill, and we have also been told that it was made by Pairpoint. Please do decide for yourselves. Tuthill American Brilliant Period Antique Cut Glass Creamer
Tuthill ABP antique cut glass creamer with floral. Hobstar and crosshatch design. 24 point star on the bottom. Sawtooth rim and notched handle. Very pretty. This piece shines with the colors of the prism in sunlight. It is 2-3/8" high. Approx. 3" wide at rim, 5" across from tip spout to end of handle and the base is 3-1/4" wide. Weight is 14 ozs. In fair condition. Antique and definitely used. There are little chips and nicks on the star cuts around the sides and on the bottom. And very light scratches and scuffs. Also the glass has a watermark(cloudy haze) around the bottom third of the creamer on the inside.

1980 Celestron Orange Tube C8 Fork Mount with AC power cord& Roger Tuthill accessories. The mount is in excellent mechanical& cosmetic condition. The Tuthill RA locking and slow-motion fine adjustment controller is a nice addition. The mount has dual synchronous motors and tracks excellent when properly polar aligned. The Tuthill dual setting circle illuminators are no longer working. I checked the bulbs and they are fine, I believe there may be a ground issue causing the illuminators to malfunction, there's a battery corrosion hole in the side the housing(see photo) that may be part of the problem. The extra handheld illuminator shown in the photos is also included but it will need a new bulb& battery ground spring. The illuminators take AA batteries which will not be included.
