Vintage Buckingham Tree Climbing Belt & Klein Tree Spikes Gaffs Linesman Belt
You are bidding on a set of climbing tools. One is a Buckingham Climbing belt and two are Klein Tools Climbing spikes and Safety Strap. Both the climbing belt and spikes are vintage used equipment. The spikes are 15" from top to spike and 16" tall from top to bottom. The leather straps need to be replaced. The climbing belt shows signs of use and some oxidation on the clasps but with a little TLC this could be a decent set if you can use them. I am throwing all three in together!

Pair of older Buckingham spikes and Rose climbing belt. I'm no expert on either so feel free to ask questions regarding condition. The one is missing the foot strap which can be purchased on the Buckingham website. The leg pads show obvious wear and the leather straps show wear and have some age cracking. The gaffs have been re-sharpened at some time it appears. Model LC-5 16" The Rose manufacturing belt is in nice used condition. The leather straps are marked with a 27 or 2.7 not sure…see photos. The belt straps have had extra holes made to shorten the size. The large leather belt is marked on the buckles Miller Equip Co Franklin Penna Tested 4086 tested. The belt sizing measurement I am giving is laid flat measuring from the tongue to the first hole which is 37” to the last hole. 45”see photo. Belt is heavy and worn with some broken stitches. Cloth covered positioning strap hardware is marked M. Klein& with the number WE43045 on the metal strip that attaches the belt to snap hook also marked Bell System D M. Klein& Sons 7-62. We have available this older pair of Klein Climbing Spikes or Gaffs. And Climbing Belt with fabric pole or positioning/safety strap. Gaffs have good metal frames(marked 17-1/2) and spikes with old straps and pads that should be replaced. The Belt assembly is leather that is cracked& worn, and includes a good 6' fabric positioning strap. Just as pictured, used gear, all older with some wear, leather showing cracking. This auction is for an Atlas Pole/Tree Climbing Lineman's Belt w/ Safety Rope. Model 349 Date 5-79 Standard 10-1. Matawan. NJ. They are in fair used condition. Have dirt, scratches,coating loss, and spotty surface rust throughout. Strap is dirty and has rust spots. Rope is the same. Belt round clips have spotty rust and coating loss. Hooks on rope are marked Atlas 403-A and are fairly clean. They hook tightly. Rope has hardly any fraying to it, and appears to have been hardly used but is dirty. Belt is approx 50" long and cinches. It does not have a buckle system with holes in it. It can fit upto a 42" waist and is 1 3/4" wide. Rope is approx 68" long including hooks. These are AS IS!
