Found on a high shelf in the back of an old farm equipment barn is this Factory Rebuilt OPW brand model 1A Fil-o-matic Automatic Shut Off fuel nozzle. The barn's contents are part of a ranch estate sale. Located in a very rural ranching and farming area of central Texas, and it appears that this nozzle has been on the barn shelf, in its' original box with(the remains of- see photos) the documentation/instructions for a very, very long time. First of all. The condition of the box, and more especially the insect munched paperwork took some time to achieve. Also, the paperwork is dated 1972. For a forty year old piece of equipment, it is in unused condition- looks perfect. see the photos! We just wiped the dust off with a red shop rag. same thing with the box(much dirtier, of course) including a mud dauber nest. The nozzle business end(dispensing) ... moremeasures 3/4" ID and 7/8" OD. The silver paint has been worn off and has little left. The handle has very good spring back and maybe operationable. The handle guard has a slight warp to it. Up for bid is a beautiful polished Ohio Pattern Works brass gasoline pump handle with nozzle. This item is an original that is circa 1920's. Besides the"OPW" CIN. O. and"427" there is also a"6" on the finger guard near the hinge point on the left side and"RC" at the same spot on the right side. The handle and plunger work smoothly are functional. The bonus to this piece is the beautiful OPW in prominent placement and on BOTH sides! This is an exceptional piece of petroliana that would make a great addition to any collection. It saw service and is a genuine piece of history. With that in mind when I had it polished to a mirror finish. Otherwise the nozzle is completely intact and could be easily reattached to a gas pump from the same era.

You are bidding on a Vintage OPW solid brass gas pump nozzle from Cincinnati. Ohio. This new old stock nozzle is in great shape. There is no damage except a couple of small indentations and has not been cleaned. Nozzle measures around 6 1/2" long. The threaded opening is 1" Numbers stamped on this are H 459 B and 97. This comes from a local estate of a man who worked for Sinclair Gas& Oil for almost 30 years. His basement was full of Gas& Oil related items. This is just one of the many pieces found. No Reserve! The 633TE mates with the gravity drop delivery elbow on the transport truck. The 634TT Top Cap is heavy duty and corrosion resistant; the body is made of duratuf to help eliminate rust and oxidation for a long, maintenance free life. The 634TT toggle lever distributes downward pressure to compress its Buna-N gasket evenly, assuring a positive, water and vapor-tight seal. The 634TT can be locked with a padlock or wire seal. You are bidding on one(1) used vintage metal OPW Fil-O-Matic gas pump nozzle handle. It is approximately 16 1/2" long and about 6" wide. The nozzle section is about 7 1/2" long. It was made in Cin. OH and has a patent number of 2562195 on the handle. It is used so does have scratches. Some rust, and wear from use and age but would make a nice collectible.
