2 Vintage Glass Condiment Bottles, Cheese Shaker & Oil/Vinegar Despenser
The cheese shaker has no markings. It has a metal lid with 11 holes and measures 6" high and 3" at the middle. The lid does have a tiny bit of rust and there are some stains I was unable to remove from the inside bottom of the glass. I don't think it is cut glass possibly pressed. The design reminds me of a hand held train signal light. The other bottle is also about 6" high and 2" at the base. It has plastic lid. That I am not certain is the original one. There are marking on the bottom: G" in a square, 75, 16 and#3309. I did find some info about the"G" The"G" in a square used as a trademark on ware was adopted in 1932. What is most unusual. However, was Glenshaw's method of marking the date of manufacture on their bottles was using the alphabet. Starting with"G" for 1932 and ... moreending with"Z" for 1952.
