For your consideration a vintage 60's era Monroe air Shock Absorbers display. Fresh from a local estate. The display is made of metal. Fiberboard and plastic. The air compressor on the back works and pumps up the air shock on the right when the right button on the front control is pressed and changes the angle of the car on the top front of the display. The left button on the control releases the air from the shock to level the car back out. It works perfectly. It measures 26" in height by 16" in width by 10" in depth. You are bidding on a vintage wood sign for CURRINS WHALE OIL.I have had this sign for a couple of years hanging in my home. It seems as if it was made out of driftwood and measures 5 ft 3 inches long and 14 inches wide. Sometime in the past. The small fin on the bottom was slightly creased and glued back in place. It is a beautifully graphic piece and is as I found it here in Florida. Most likely, the paint is NOT original, but I feel that whoever painted it over the years stayed true to what was on it originally. The dark spots on the back is from where I cut out a piece of plastic and glued it to the back to protect my wall from smudging and dirt marks. I don't think that this is a very common shape for a vintage Goodyear sign- I was not able to find another oval shaped one like this on completed auctions- most of the others are rectangular or diamond shaped. This one measures 28 inches wide by 20 inches tall. It does have a gun shot mark on the“Tires” text and there are some chips along the edges particularly along the holes for hanging the sign. Other than that this sign is in very good condition for its age with nice colors with little fading. I am not exactly sure how old this sign is. My Dad picked it up at a flea market in Maybrook. It is 8 1/2 x 11 when open and 3 1/2 by 11 when closed. No marks on the edge. There is a crease where it was folded in half but it is not bad at all and probably will not show in the pictures. This is a very old Gulf Gasoline. Supreme Motor Oil, and Gulf Refining Co. advertising road map. It is for the Sate of Pennsylvania and the cities of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. It is 9 x 4 inches when folded and in very good condition for its age. There is no date but the image of the car says a lot along with the list of Passenger Cars on the Lubrication Chart on the map. Vehicles are in alphabetical order beginning with Auburn and ending with Willys-Knight.The two Fords are Model A and Model T- numerous vehicles many of which are unusual names. The old gasoline pump is shown on the back. Some expected but minor edge issues. When the map is open there are two small holes at the corner folds. nice lot of vintage fishing reel maintenance pcs. Nice 1/2 full glass jar of pflueger reel oil. Nice label but is oil soiled. Pflueger grease tube, 80% empty but some left, Penn tube half full. Reel bag is reddish in colour with some flaking of material, see pics. Wrenches are 2 Penn and one pflueger little giant, all nice shape usable tools. Up for your consideration is this vintage rare amber color camphorated oil bottle. Label says Durr Drug Company Montgomery Alabama. Bottle is in very good condition for age with no chips or cracks and the top label is very good and readable. The cork appears to be original. Sorry about the bottom one. Would have been great to see what it said. Bottom of bottle has numbers 7 oval symbol 8 and letter 9 under the top row of numbers. Could very well be the year 1909. Very nice bottle/ jug. Up for auction is an antique miner's oil wick lamp. It measures 4 5/8" tall at it's tallest point and the base measures 1 5/8" in diameter. For your consideration a vintage 1930's Mobiloil sign. Fresh from a local estate. The sign has a metal case with a lighted glass front. It has a spinner wheel behind the glass to give it a motion effect. It has a neon tube to light it behind the glass front. It lights up and works. There is some paint loss on the glass and the cord has been replaced and wired on to the old one. It measures overall 18" in width by 18" in height by 5 1/2" in depth. This is pair of 2 oil drilling lucite paperweights with real oil encapsulated within. One is for Cashco One Million Barrels. Grimes County, Texas. The other is for Glennco.
