Lineman Climber's and Lineman's Belt and a GTE Lineman's Telephone
I have a set of Lineman Climber’s. Belt and a GTE Lineman’s telephone. From the patient information, the climber spikes were made around 1930. I have included a copy of the patient diagram and the patient Documentation The Climbing belt is newer. I found the climbing spikes and the climbing belt as a kid in Alaska. I remember finding them when I was about 6 years old. The belt is well over 50 years old and in perfect condition. I tried to use the spikes and belt twice. I could not grasp the concept to lean away from the pole. I could make it about 15 feet up the pole and because my spikes were not angled in, I slid down the pole. That was my experience in using them. They have been in my possession since 1964. Included with the climbing spikes and climbing belt are copies of the patients. there is a GTE Lineman's Telephone included. It ... morehas the rotary dial and a clip to hook it to your belt. It also has clips to hook to a telephone line. I received it when I was 10 years old, that would have been around 1970. So it is over 40 years old and looks brand new. Vintage Tree pole Climbing Spikes and belt Lineman gear gaffs spurs NO RESERVE
Vintage pole climbing spikes. I cannot tell what brand they are. But I included pictures of the marks they have. They are just too faded/warn for me to be able to tell, but maybe you can? Up for purchase is a Klein Tools full floating lineman's belt in used condition. Model 5278N22. Item appears to be in good usable condition but has seen substantial use. Size is listed as 37-45 but I don't believe that is a direct correlation to waist size, I'm a 38 and it won't latch around me. Previous owner wrote identification on the inside of the belt in permanent marker which is now pretty faded. The hanging electrical tape holder has a crack to the leather as seen in the close-up but is still usable. Item show normal wear and tare. Manufacture date 1/89. Made in the USA. The gaffs are marked 4-54 Buckingham Bell system A 17 inch. The 2 straps are marked Klein, they are 5 foot + long. one marked KL-5295-58 the other just Klein on a buckle. The Belt say's Klein Tools 5266N-22 38-46 with 1-78 date. I tried it on. If you are going to use it a better size range would be 32 to 40 Inches. My waist size is 38 inches and I used the 2nd to last hole when putting it on. $16 shipping to lower 48.
