It is made of yellow nylon, double thickness for 1/2 the length, has copper rivets and a D style hookup. This vintage belt was made in New York in December 1972. I got these from the estate of a guy that worked on the Rock Island railroad. I would assume they were for doing repair work on the telegraph lines that ran along the track. Leather is old and dry. Neetsfoot oil or other good shoe oil would make them a lot nicer. Old vintage equipment that I am sure was fine when it was retired. But I would not sell it for use and consider it a collector's item only out of safety concerns. I would have loved to had this setup when I was a kid!

This bid is for a vintage leather Klein lineman. Logger or arborist climbing belt with lanyard. Shows use and wear but still appears solid and usable. Leather is not dried out or rotten. I Waist will fit a 32" to 38" give or take a bit. One lanyard is marked Klein, appear usable but well worn, not sure I would trust it without doing a little repair to it. These were owned by a gentleman that retired out of Oklahoma as a Lineman.Tornado alley as he use to call it)Moved here to the Pacific Northwest and finished off topping small timber on the side.The belts dated 1981 and size medium and the spurs I assume are as old and all are still in nice usable doable condition.All stitching in safety belt looks good and spurs have no pitting or breaks or cracks.Boot belts are a little stiff but but not dried out or cracked.Nice find.Pictures are accurate as possible as usual.Thanks.
