Antique Early Kerosene Wheel Cut Glass Peg Lamp Spelter Base
Antique early kerosene peg lamp. Lamp measures 8.5" tall to the top of the#1 size brass collar. The glass font is highly decorated with wheel cut designs of vines and flourishes. The spelter base has a pewter finish and is weighted. Glass font is free if any chips. Cracks or repairs. Base has some light surface wear, a subtle dent to the bottom edge side but is free of any severe denting or splits. Please ask any questions.

The Hanging Lamp Frame is believed to pre-date the very ornate'true' Victorian hanging frames. And has simple lines in bent brass with a thin, almost translucent, milk glass shade, and the oil lamp and chimney, see picts. The oil lamp has a center hole molded into the center of the bottom. Which fits perfectly into the brass'peg' on the bottom of the Hanging Parlor Lamp Frame. The bottom of the glass lamp oil resevoir is marked, PATd Sep. 20 1870 PATd Aug 31 1875" see picts. The glass lamp has outward slanting sides. With a criss-cross design molded into the glass, see picts. The oil resevoir has an unmarked brass cover and the ring that the wick holder screws into is also brass, beautiful patina and both these pieces are unmarked, see picts. This Hanging Parlor is believed to be all original, with the exception being the wick holder, which is a Queen Anne No. 2, see picts. Primitive Antique Kerosene Marine Ship Boat Signal Lantern Lamp
This is an interesting old lantern. Made from tin and with a glass lens. It reads BOAT SIGNAL LANTERN on the front. When you open the lens, there is a spring loaded lever that slides back to reach the burner. Mirrored on the back side of this. I see no maker marks. The lantern measures 8 3/4" in height and is 3 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. Original black paint shows quite a bit of wear, but the lantern is intact. Neat old lantern. Vintage Antique Victorian Hanging Oil Kerosene Parlor Library Lamp w/ Prisms
This is a fantastic. Large, complete antique hanging library lamp with 14" floral hand painted milk glass shade, clear glass chimney, and the complete frame with smoke bell and all 63 prisms. It has been electrified and the cord runs up through the ceiling canopy where two wire nuts attach it to a longer cord(it looks like it was probably hard-wired into a home electrical system, and a lamp cord was added later. It works, but should be inspected by an electrician before use. The frame is excellent and unique because it has jointed decorative metal tubing instead of chains holding the lamp. With large metal rings on the bottom that hook onto the ornate floral cast iron frame. The metal font that once held oil or kerosene is cracked on one side(shown in the photos) but the cracks are not highly visible behind the prisms and can be turned ... moreto face the wall. The shade is excellent with no cracks or chips and has a smooth rounded edge on both top and bottom. It is hand numbered(93) on the inside, but I don't see a signature. The shade features hand painted floral patterns all the way around, and there are a few spots where the paint is rubbed off, shown close-up in the photos. The shade currently doesn't sit down in the frame all the way around, probably because the frame is slightly bent and could some adjusting, and I didn't want to force it down all the way around. The shade sits mostly on the frame as it is shown in the photos, but it seems like it should fit. The lamp measures 3 feet(36 inches) from ceiling canopy down to the bottom. It will be partially disassembled. The prisms will be removed and wrapped separately, and all items will be packed well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

Beautiful Floral Glass Roses? Hand-painted? non-electric Lamp with metal(Brass? Base. The piece on top that screws on. On the side is the metal piece that turns for the wick adjustment, and imprinted in the metal on this piece, very hard to see, I had to use a magnifying glass. but, it looks to be'P&A CO' with what looks to be a late 1800's PAT. Of course it's empty and you will see in one of the photos where the top is off. The same floral pattern/design is on both sides. It has a Victorian-style to it. On one of the sides where the floral pattern, which looks like roses to me, but one one side, there's a little line through the flower where some of the color has worn. It might not be as noticeable to someone else but I try to look at everything closely. It still displays beautifully and again, is not really that ... morenoticeable. I just like to mention everything I see. I assume the bottom is a brass type of metal. From the bottom to the top, it measures approximately 11 inches tall and this is measuring the piece that the wick goes in. It does not have a wick and it is without the top part or globe. The material looks to be in good condition. I do not see any chips, nicks or cracks. I am hoping the photos will speak for themselves, the condition and description. Up for auction is this victorian oil lamp'drop in' fount made of hard earthenware( or stoneware) with an intensely dark blue decoration to the top. These flat founts were typically made in this exact pattern by Taylor Tunnicliffe. Although this one is not marked underneath. This one has the usual creamy coloured'body' though the decoration is much darker than they usually are. They were made to fit into a four footed'pot' see last picture) that is often mistaken for a pot-pourri when found without its lamp fount. The fount is NOT supposed to match the base in pattern. They are always different. This one has had a chip repaired to the very edge. Hardly shows but can be felt. 5&1/2 inches diameter overall. And 3 inches overall height. fits into an aperture(in the base pot) of 5 inches diameter. There are NO cracks ... moreand no chips other than the one mentioned. The top opening is correct size for a Duplex burner collar. With ribs moulded into it for good grip of the plaster. Typically fitted with hinks burners and collars.
