For auction is a beautiful Matthews& Willard manufacturing company bicycle lamp dated 1897. Believe it ran on kerosene. Was made in Waterbury. Connecticut. It is in very good condition, just needs a little cleanup. Has the mounting bracket still, and can be taken apart for cleaning. The underside has several small dents(not visible while sitting on a shelf) and has felt applied to the bottom to sit on a display stand. Very nice example of a rare bicycle light. This is a childs working tin toy stove made by Gebruder Bing from Nurnberg. Bavaria, Germany c. early 1900's. Makers mark is G B over N in a diamond with Bavaria underneath. You fill the tray with kerosene, light the wicks, and heat your pots and pans to cook your food. It does not look like it was ever used. The wicks look original, the tray to hold the kerosene has a turn cap that turns easily and the tray moves in and out easily, the doors open and close with a turn key and work easily, the pots and pans fit into a recess opening properly, the chimney is clean,everything is in excellent condtion with little signs of having been played with. Really beautiful oil lamp base with original hardware by Dabs. Made in Portugal. This lamp has the original sticker on the bottom and is embossed with a code but I can't make it out. Intresting fully enclosed bottom, with very interesting turn knob(see pics) was found in a barn and I lightly cleaned it, did not try to polish the brass. I will leave that up to the new owner.

We are pleased to offer for your consideration this extraordinarily beautiful PIANO FLOOR LAMP made by BRADLEY& HUBBARD sometime between 1888 and 1892. On the oil filler cap it is stamped"B& H" pictured) for Bradley& Hubbard and the brass burner is stamped in 3 different places"PAT'D MARCH 27 1888" JULY 26 1892" and"AUG 30 1892" It is a stunning lamp with a 3 legged twisted cast wrought iron stand which is painted black and it does have a few spots of paint lose along the edges. The cast metal post is adjustable which extends the lamp up to about 6 1/2 feet in heighth. Also on the center post is the 13" diameter black tray with a leaf type patterned designed edge. Note on the top of the tray is a stain which looks like it may have been from a cup or glass which I have not tried to remove ... moreand will leave for the new owner to deal with. The brass oil font is surrounded by a beautiful black wire metal scrolling and it has 6 cast wrought iron arms that match the legs. There is a float level guage in the oil font and it moves freely but unable to tell if it is accurate because the font doesnt hold oil because it has been drilled for electrical wire. The lamp has been electrified and it has a pull chain switch on the underneath side of the font to control the light socket. I am not a lamp repair man but it may be able to be returned to an original oil lamp without to much trouble if so desired? The lamp globe is a lovely pastel green with a shade of pink or salmon on the top and it has a bowl of 3 beautiful hand painted pink roses and rose buds with green stems and leaves on the front. The top and bottom rims of the globe have a few minor nicks from being placed on and of the lamp over the years and it has a small lightly faded spot about 1 1/2" long to the left side of the painted roses. Princess Feather Kerosene Lamp w/Riverside Glass Clinch On Collar, White Flame
The pictures don't do this lamp justice. It is a large exceptionally beautiful& in excellent condition Victorian era oil lamp with a White Flame Co. burner. Grand Rapids, Mich. The only minor issue are some flea bites on the very bottom where it touches a surface(see last pic) Hard to capture. It measures 17" tall including the chimney. Is 11" high without the chimney& approx. 7" wide at it's widest point. The beautifully embossed glass is very thick, clear& heavy. These large lamps were termed"Massive Sewing" lamps, probably because sewing required very good light. The burner wick knob works well. The chimney is beaded on the top. You will love this lamp! Riverside Glass Co. crimped the collar to the glass which it patented in the 1880's instead of gluing it. This lamp to the best of my knowledge ... moredates 1900-1910. Listed is an amazing piece of Depression era glass. A deep ruby red oil lamp with an incredible detailed base. It is in incredible shape for its age. There are some swirls to the coloring of the glass as can be seen in the pictures, which is natural to the manufacturing process, along with some minor speckling to the bottom of the base. Please see pictures for full view of condition. There are no chips, cracks or flea bites on this lovely piece. This is a larger lamp. Standing 11 inches tall, and at its widest, measures 7 inches. A very unique lantern. It appears to have age and to be hand made. The metal. I believe is brass, and has great patina. The top part has patterns in the glass that were hand applied. The top of the lantern has"screw grooves" inside which makes no sense unless it was handmade. The band around the top of the globe has been cut. You can tell, because the pattern has been cut. Then there is the various holes to secure the band. A machine made lantern would have had only one hole. Attached to the band are what looks like turkeys- that's where the links attach. The metal on the top does not match the metal on the bottom. There are two pieces. The globe appears to be store-bought. The globe is 5" across and high. Hand crafted wooden electric"kerosene" lantern. About 12 1/2" high excluding bale. 6 1/2" diameter base. Globe is an inverted Ball canning jar. Which screws into the inverted cap(which is firmly attached to the wooden base) I'm using a clear C7 Night Light bulb, but a colored and/or flickering bulb would be interesting. I've had this piece for several years and have used only lemon oil to bring out the wood grain. It could easily be stained or painted, depending on desired look. Faux filler cap is painted red. Artist's name is burned into the base. Cord has switch and is in excellent condition. Great addition to lamp/lantern collection or as décor for a rustic cabin/camp/home. Questions always welcome. Antique Kerosene 1800's Gone With the Wind GWTW 24" Oil Kerosene Parlor Lamp
This is a beautiful hand painted Gone with the Wind style lamp from the turn of the century. It has never been electrified and there is no wick. I am not sure if it is in working order or not. The only defect that I can see is that the brass cradle that holds the oil reservoir has a hole in it. This would not affect how the piece functions and can not be seen unless the lamp is taken apart. It stands 24" tall and would be 26" if it had a chimney. The pictures show the lamp with both a white and a pastel green wall in the background for color clarification. Have a Vintage Red Colored Railroad Lantern for sale. Manufactured by Regal and has a model number of"0" on base surrounding fill cap. Overall height including handle is right around 20 inches. Handle stands 6 inches above top of lantern. Patent dates on top of lantern are July 29. 1890 and June 30, 1903. Tried to find similar lanterns were fruitless. It is possible that original glass globe may have been exchanged with the one I have. Glass globes fits well and is made of clear and red glass. Original parts that move globe up and down are functioning for proper lighting. Found as is and ready for next owner. Will try to remove globe for safe shipping and I will cover cost of insurance. 1869 Scottish Clipper Ship Brass Nautical Lantern Kerosene/Oil Lamp Scotland This is a great vintage REPRODUCTION of a 1869 Scottish clipper ship lantern. The lantern is brass and is in really good shape for its age which is estimated to be at least 35 years old. My father purchased it at an auction in the 70's. Used, and it's been in our family that long so the actual age is probably older. Their are 6 sides of heavy-pane glass that is in good shape with no cracks. The lantern has the normal patina on the brass from age.

Antique Glass Oil Lamp This is a nice old glass oil lamp. There are mold lines in the font and stand portion. The fluted pattern is in the interior of the stand. So the outer portion of glass is smooth. This lamp has interior threading for the burner. There is a diagonal ribbed pattern in the glass around the collar. The lamp has a simple yet elegant design. Aside from some expected wear at the bottom of the base where it rests, and a little roughness around the rim right above the base I haven't found any damage to the glass. Handle on top looks like its made to hang over a log or branch. 3 red lenses are in exellent condition. They have concentric rings in them.
