Miniature Porcelain Kerosene Oil Lamp with Roses
This sweet little lamp is 6” high x 3¾” x 3. It is decorated with roses and has gold accents. There is a little roughness alone the top of the shade. The roses on the shade have a couple of sections where it appears the color has come off. But when you rub your finger over it. You can’t really feel any difference in the texture, so I’m guessing it could be a defect.

Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil/Kerosene Heater No. 630 in blue enamel is complete with burner/tank. Heater measures 24" t x 17" w(at widest point between feet) and about 10" w at top. Does have rust to metal trim and some chips in the enamel. Flame/wick adjustment knob is stuck. I believe due to old gummy wick still in the burner. I do not know if it works but am selling it as home décor. The tank had a small amount of kerosene in it, which I drained, but there will be a bit of a kerosene odor.

It could have been used ... morefor lubricating oil of course, but the oil cans we use at Walkersville(for lubricating journals) have long spouts to reach the journals, and much wider can openings to allow for the higher viscosity of oil. I suspect this held kerosene, either for lanterns(which had small fonts, to discourage continual burning) or lamps, or marker or head lights. This can is probably a 1.5 or 2 gallon can, measuring just over 8 inches diameter and just over 12 inches tall, not including the bale handle. Made of galvanized iron, it obviously has surface rust, but the cap removes easily and the interior is bright. While it shows wear, I see no dents or other issues. And in its original state. well, outstanding" is almost an understatement. But it is what it is. worn and lots of lacquer missing. I wish I could perform magic, but I cannot. It is what it is. Kerosene hanging lamp. Like one hanging from ceiling over table. End of day. coloration. But very worn. Shape is outstanding. No doubt about that. 5.75" and as it is. Blown in Germany before World War I. This was a cottage industry. A means for the Germans to make money during the winter when they could not work in the fields. The sons and fathers blew the ornaments. The girls and mom would silver the ornaments inside, and then individually paint the ornaments, and grandma would take to the train station ... morein the spring when the others were back in the fields. Then they went to the sea coast, put on ships, and arrived in New York to be delivered across the country, and we used them to decorate our trees. The origin is Lauscha, Germany. There is nothing wrong with these Christmas ornaments. These being listed today are in very good shape. They are vintage. Not reproductions. I guarantee that. Antique Kerosene Stand Lamp This is a lovely glass oil lamp. It is fitted with a hinged#1 burner and a ruffled top chimney. The lamp is in nice condition overall. There are some minor chips along the bottom edge. The wick wheel has patent dates that go back to 1866. The burner is in functional order. There is what looks like a minor manufacturing defect in the base where some dust has settled that looks like an incision mark. The lamp measures 14.5" tall to the top of the chimney and 6.25" to the collar. The base has a diameter of about 4" Although the lamp displays quite nicely it does have a chip on the stem about half way up. Unless you have it positioned directly where the damage is. It isn't very noticeable. There is a tiny nip on the foot base as well. I haven't been able to remove the burner from the collar. ... moreI'm not sure why it is so resistant to move, I've tried WD40 and letting running water go over the collar for a minute or two. It does look like the collar was re-attached as I can see an excess of plaster around the collar. On the stem, there is a burst air bubble at the surface that has left a little rough spot on the glass. The glass itself is nice and clear. There is light wear to the decoration on the font. Antique Sandwich Glass? Oil Lamp Kerosene Ebony Black Base Dentil Font Victorian
Antique Kerosene Lamp This is a nice lamp with a black base and clear font. The font has an inverted pattern along the bottom similar to dentil molding. I haven't been able to find this pattern in either of the Thuro books that I have but it has many similarities to Sandwich Glass lamps. The font has two mold lines. The black glass base has a couple minor imperfections. There are a couple bubble like spots on one side. There are also a few vertical lines that can be felt in the base where the glass tapers inward. On the underside of the base there is some residue where it looks like something was adhered to it. There are some visible bubbles in the font. It also looks like the font has a slightly irregular shape to it. This is a gorgeous old lamp with an elegant design. I just wanted to be nit-picky with the description since it isn't ... moreyour run of the mill kero lamp. This takes a#1 sized burner. Antique Marble Column Banquet Lamp Kerosene Oil Glass Font Stand Victorian Light
Stunning Kerosene Banquet Lamp This is a gorgeous. Tall kerosene lamp. This would certainly be an attractive piece to have in a Victorian or Arts& Crafts decor. The stone column looks like it might be red quartz. But I'm not very good with identifying stone. The metal base has some wonderful ornate detail. The font has an inverted thumbprint style design. The font can be disconnected from the base. I imagine this dates to the 1870's but I am uncertain of its origin. The column is smooth to the touch and I haven't found any visible damage. The font has a few minor scuffs. I haven't determined the maker of the burner. The burner has some damage on the casing and signs of previous repair as well as a break on the cylinder that the wick would wrap around. I haven't been able to get it to fully extend one side of the wick ... morethrough. I believe it has something to do with the wick raiser knob itself. I examined the teeth and the gears turn as they should when the wick is not in place. I think there is a slight bend to the knob arm that could be corrected by someone with experience. The metal plate on the underside of the base is marked with CJ107. This measures approximately 20.5" tall to the collar. The base is about 5.5" square including the feet which flare out slightly. The foot is 3 1/4" wide and the next measurement for the base neck is 4 3/4" wide. Glue residue visible in foot area and cement visible on inner metal areas. vintage. I have owned this for 30 years myself. but I have no clue how old it really is. The painted flowers could be touched up but I would not be the person to do that so it is yours as is. ps. There has not been oil in this lamp for those 30 years. I never used it. it was used when I got it. lamp stands about 8 inches tall. There is a new wick in it and once upon a time it did have oil in it for a while. What I like is the swirled pattern in the glass chimney chimney is 3 1/2 inches high outer diameter where it attaches to lamp is 1 1/4th inner diameter is 7/8ths
