Vintage Carnival Glass Kerosene / Oil Lamp - Neat Lamp- Made in Hong Kong
You are bidding on a Vintage Carnival Glass Kerosene/ Oil Lamp. I recently picked this up at an estate sale. I wasn't aware that Hong Kong made carnival glass. But the metal piece that turns on the side to raise the wick says"Made in Hong Kong" So.either the whole thing was made in Hong Kong, or just the metal portion. I am not sure. You get what you see, minus the oil(kerosene or whatever it is) It will be shipped empty. Anyway, it is about 15.5" tall with the globe, or about 8.5" without. I think the only part of the glass that is carnival glass is the very bottom portion which is only about 1" tall around the bottom rim. It sure is pretty though. There is a symbol or something near the bottom that I can't make out. I tried to take a couple pictures so maybe someone who knows about lamps can figure out the ... moresymbol. Antique 4-1/4 Glass Wall Bracket Chandelier Lamp Font Tanks- 2 piece Lot Description: Bracket lamp font or fluid tank sections are made of clear glass. Listing includes two very similar zipper pattern glass font tanks. The font on the left in picture one is slightly blue in color. It glows light neon green under a black light and is blown in a two part mold. Brass collar is flawless other than an aged brass patina. Glass is marked J. W. C. on the bottom. The font on the right in picture one is clear in color and doesn't react to UV light. It is blown from a 3 part mold. The brass collar has no cracks but is dented on the top rim. This one is unmarked. Font tanks are for use in a cast iron wall bracket of hanging lamp requiring a 4.25 inch tank diameter. These each use a Queen Anne#2 size burner. Not included. Early 1900's Double Kerosene Lamp, Angle Lamp MFG Co. NY
Angle MFG CO Double kerosene lamp. Looks like plated copper and tin but not real sure of the metals, has a' fleur-de-lis' pattern. I do not have any globes or chimneys for this but was surprised to find many dealers on line that stock them in different styles and colors. The lamp shows some plating wear. A few minor dings, and it appears some one used an epoxy on the inside to secure the hanging ring, this can be seen in last picture. The repair is not noticed when lamp is together, I only found it when taking apart for pictures. Please see photos to determine your own opinion on condition. sold as is for parts. Offered for your consideration is stunning oil lamp manufactured by Edward Miller& Co. Sometime between 1895 and 1900. This Lamp was quite different from most of the Lamps in the Miller catalogue. As it was constructed of a brass bottom and burner, and was specifically designed as a utilitarian Lamp, to be used to illuminate factories, barns, and other industrial and agricultural workspaces where a fancily-embossed, decorative Lamp would certainly have been out-of-place. These Lamps were often mounted in a heavy-duty wall bracket. With the light being focused on the workspace by a Mercury Glass Reflector mounted on the bracket, behind the Burner. The first lamp is in good condition considering the age. It has a mounting arm on the back of the light. It has a red light in the lamp. It is a bit rusted around the mounting of the light in the casing and there are other spots of rust on the exterior but over all it seems to be in good condition. The inside seems to be in good condition with the end of the wick still inside. The turn mechanism that king that turns up the wick is tight and does not turn the wick up easily; I'm not sure if it is because it is old or the wick is at the end. It has the numbers 7295 on the end of the mounting bar. It has Pat. June 23-14 and Pat. May 26-14 on the bottom of the lamp. Has some chips due, more than likely) to storage, more than anything else. The lantern does have a small ding on it's top, but other than that and the chips, it is in great, almost"like new" condition! The wick looks like it may have been lit at one time, p ossibly tested at one time. The tip of the wick is a dark brown. It comes complete with a clear glass globe as shown. The dimensions are as follows: Stands 9-1/2" w/o the wire handle extended. With the wire handle extended. It stands 16" tall. In used condition with typical corrosion, dents, and evidence of use. Some of the wire frame and the handle have been bent. The red glass globe is in good shape with no cracks. Railroad Lantern lamp Kerosene Adlake # 300 burner fount set wick pot
This is a railroad lantern fount and burner stamped Adlake No 300 Use long time burning oil only and Adlake 300 on burner and a new wick. The writing is alittle different fount then the new founts so I believe that this is an older fount from Adlake. It is in good condition. It shows alittle wear on the word only. There is one minor dent on the bottom. Pot has no holes and holds liquids. The burner and fount have some tarnishing on them but the burner easily moves the wick up and down. Fits in all Adlake. A wonderful old lamp. I can not tell you an age. The bottom is green metal and some of the paint is missing. Rusty on the underside. The next, round section is metal also. The stem is white with a flower design and I really do not know what it is made of stone? glass. Etc. The bowl is squat with a pretty design all around it. The wick holder has writing on it. I believe it is PARAFFIN OR LAMP OIL WARNING USE ONLY. 14" Tall without the globe.

ANTIQUE"THE METEOR LAMP" ELECTRIFIED KEROSENE OIL LAMP MEASURES 21.5" H. THIS LAMP WAS MY GRANDMOTHER'S MOTHERS! I AM 60 YEARS OLD SO THIS IS SUPER COOL WITH BEAUTIFUL FILIGREE AND DETAIL. BROUGHT BACK FROM COLORADO SPRINGS IN EARLY 70'S AND WAS RE PURPOSED INTO A 3-WAY BULB LAMP BUT HAD AN ANTIQUE AMBER GLASS DOME WHICH MY MOM BROKE.SADLY. In excellent condition with no dents, rusts or damage to the brass oil lamp itself or the darling, very detailed brass(possibly refinished at some point before my mom received it because it has beautiful golden toned finish not a dull brass) country girl design and ornate base. My mother added amber glass chandelier pieces to match the dome and these are NOT antique but are vintage. Some pieces are missing but 17 still intact and can be replaced with new, matching ones. Left them ... morethere and buyer may choose to remove them all since the filigree ring is very lovely without them. there is a section of this ring that is loose and needs to be repaired/secured back down. My mom is not sure which parts of the lamp were original or what my grandmother had done since she received this over 40 years ago as part of the estate. Weights 6 lbs before packaging. This has a 10 FT. Cord in excellent condition with no fraying/cuts and lighting great that can accommodate a 3-way bulb. A hurricane lamp can be replaced and I believe the ring can be removed to convert this back to an oil lamp-type look.Please ask any questions prior to bidding as there are no returns. This has been stored and not displayed for decades since the glass dome/shade was broken( the diameter of this ring for a new glass shade is 12" across with a 11.5" lip diameter where dome sets in.
