Vintage Red Embury Luck-E-Lite No.25 Red Globe Side Mount Kerosene Truck Lantern
Beautiful red Luck-E-Lite truck lantern produced by the Embury Manufacturing Company. The Interstate Commerce Commission's safety regulations for the commercial trucking industry took effect on July 1. 1937. This required all trucks to carry torches, flares, and lanterns designed for this environment. Embury met the challenge with it's“Luck-E-Lite” line of products to meet the regulations. The#25 Truck Lantern was introduced on September 22,1937. Apparently it cost an extra 25 cents per dozen to have them painted. Please see all photos for condition. Many thanks for looking.

Up for auction is a very old whale oil lamp in good to very good condition for its age. There are minor flake chips to the base and underneath along with the normal base wear to the bottom due to many years of use( around 150 years) No major chips, no cracks and no repairs. This lamp was made between 1840 and the 1860's. The lamp comes with a burner an wick, burner moves wick up and down like it should. Old Small Oil Kerosene Gasoline ? Camping Stove Our Model Brand For Display Rare
You are bidding on a very old oil stove. This has a tag on it on front that says our brand no model number that i can see. This is gravity fed you fill the top tank with oil or kerosene not sure which one but probally kerosene. I dont think it can be used anymore. Not really sure how it would light there is not a cloth burner for the oil to soak into so it might be missing some parts. The turn knobs wont turn and would have to be taken apart to clean and free up. It has a cast grate on top where the fire would be. I think it is a really cool display piece if anything. It is really light weight metal not cast iron. It stands 40 inches tall to top of tank. The tank part has dont fill while burning painted on it. The base part measures 13 x 14 1/2 x 13 tall. It has scratches and some minor rust and it looks like someone painted too close to ... moreit so it has some white paint splatter on the top not really bad but you can see it. It would not take much to repaint the base part. I will try to take off the tall oil feeder down by the stove part so it wont be so tall to ship. Like i said it dont weigh that much. It weighs only 11 pounds. But if i have to ship it all together it will cost a bit more because of the size of the box it will have to go in. Not sure if this is a camping stove or what. This Pennsy lantern has seen lots of use but is basically intact with the exception of the kerosene burner pot which is rusted through. The burner pot does. However, have the Pennsy keystone marking on the bottom. The legs to the base are slightly bent and will need to be straightened. The clear globe has the keystone logo etched in the glass and is in good condition.

Basically this is a rebadged Bialaddin 315 which was marketed in North America. Such that there are more of them in the USA and Canada than in their home country. That said, there are not many of them out there, especially the 315 lantern. Most Imber Research products I have seen have been the Bowl Fires(radiant heaters) This one has no labels on the body of the lantern itself aside from the IR mark on the jet pricker knob. And the original IR glass, which is scarce in and of itself. ... moreThe bottom is stamped with"Made in England" The enamel on the ventilator is in pretty good condition with some chips missing as you can see. The burner itself looks brand new. And I suspect it was replaced at some point and never used. The vaporizer has some hours on it clearly, but the jet cleaning needle works well, and I suspect there is still life left in the vaporizer. That is not a big issue either. As I am including a new old stock Vapalux/Bialaddin vaporizer which has some rust on it, but has never been used. Seals should be replaced with the quality Viton washers included. Mantles not included. But they are easily available online There is some significant flaking to the paint on the fount. So I would suggest stripping and re-painting or polishing if you like the shiny brass look. There is a tiny ding to the filler cap flange which may need to be carefully sanded or filed for proper sealing of the filler cap washer. This would be a great addition to any lantern collection. This is one of 2 very cool antique lamps I am offering tonight. Both come from a very old estate out of St Marys, Pa. I think they are kerosene and both have original fuel ball shaped container above the lights. This is a single light and measures approximately 33" tall X 12" wide. Ball measures approximately 9" X 6" and has screw on cap. These are not counter weights. Chipping paint and holes in the ball. I think this is a pull down but no longer has works. If I am wrong I apologize. I think this is brass. It is not cast. Circa mid to late 1800's. I am unsure what is missing/damaged.
