Up for auction is an antique Dietz King Fire Department kerosene lantern. It stands about 19" tall when the handle is up. This is a great old piece. The glass is original with no cracks, marked Fitzall New York USA, Patd 3-10-14. I see no visible repairs, the metal parts have rust, the wick is in tact& moves up& down, the cap where fuel is poured is in tact& turns easily. Up for auction is a really cool vintage kerosene can that is very similar to Eagle brand but there is no marking on the can that I can find. The can stands approximately 9 1/2" tall to the top of the lid. It has a bottom diameter of 6 3/4" The two lids are intact with the bigger one having a cork gasket underneath it. The can is in very good condition as is the red handle with no leaks and some red paint loss. But no dings to mention. 1884 Vintage Bradley & Hubbard Kerosene Stove, Heater, Lamp Combo
This is a 1884 Rare Kerosene Stove. Heater, Lamp Combo that is over 120 years old. This neat piece stands 39 inches tall and 15 inches at the base. The lamp comes out and can be placed on the table. The lamp is marked New Rochester, October 1889 and August 30 1892. The stove has a beautiful ornate brass top that comes off very easily to reveal a plate burner that has a hinged circular cover that swivels out to allow a coffee pot or pan to be heated directly over the open hole. The brass top has a few dings on it but the brass top can be rotated in either direction so the dings are on the back side. The stove is dated June 12. 1884 and May 30, 1893. Lantern appears to be made of copper. Insert appears to be brass. Burner inside also has no name. Made of brass. Wick is intact, wick turns, crack to font so we are unsure if there is a leak. We do not know if this was original to the Police lantern. Bullseye glass is intact. It has what appears to be a small crack inside the glass. Cannot be felt on the outside. There is a chip on the inside edge, cannot see it from the front. Please see pictures. Handles are intact. It has no belt clip. Door opens fine and clips closed. Antique / Vintage Cast Iron & Brass Kerosene Fire Starter with Pumice Wand
This is an Antique/ Vintage Cast Iron& Brass Kerosene Fire Starter with Pumice Wand. I have never used one of these fire starters but I did find some information online regarding their use. The pumice stone at the end of the wand is first saturated with Kerosene from the cast iron pot. To start the fire without paper or kinding. Place the saturated wand under the logs and light the kerosene saturated pumice stone with a match. The kerosene will burn long enough to ignite the logs directly. Once the logs are burning, remove the stone and let it cool on the hearth. Replace it in the pot when it is cool, to be ready for your next fire. The brass lid has a slot for the wand to stick out. The pot is 5 1/2" tall including the three feet. But including the finial on the lid. The lid diameter is 4 5/8" This is a very heavy piece and ... morethe total weight of the pot and wand is 5 pounds. It appears to me from where there is some paint loss that the lid and the wand handle are brass. They are painted black. I do not know if the black paint is original to the piece or not. I have for sale a really cool vintage rocker gasoline/kerosene can in Excellent condition for its age. This has the spring type release at the spout that works great. Can rocks easily, and is galvanized so there is no rust. You can see the word"Gasoline" painted on the front has started to fade but is definately still readable. There is a logo of some sort stamped on the fill spout cap but I can't quite make it out. Appears to possibly have a W in the logo. This would look pretty cool in the back of someones Rat Rod pickup or sitting next to your vintage gas pump. Leave it as is or paint it up and put some cool decals on it! OLD heavy Porcelain on steel - Beacon Radiant Kerosene Gas Sign - NO RESERVE
Nice old porcelain on steel sign. Advertising Beacon"Radiant" Kerosene- A Caminol Product. This piece is in very good condition. Sign is straight and has beautiful color and shine. This dates probably back to the 1940's. But without a date on the sign I can't be positive. A s you can see from the photos there is some chipping at the corners. At a couple of the grommets and along the edge, a bit of rust, but nothing major to distract. The piece measures about 12" x 18" in size. Hard to find in any condition. This sign is pretty nice. Coleman 200A red vintage kerosene camp lantern lamp single mantle box 1974 USA
For your consideration is this bright red Coleman lantern made in the U.S.A. in November. 1974. As you can see in the photos, despite a few paint chips, the color has held up very nicely over the years. This lantern looks to have only been lightly used as it is very clean, with only light sooting as you can see. There are a couple of small pitted areas in the silver base, some paint has scraped off the bottom. The pump works very smoothly, and the tank holds pressure very well. The fill cap goes on and off easily, as does the nut that holds the top on. The handle is nice and shiny for the most part as you can see. A mantle is not installed but one is included in a genuine coleman mantle package. Also included is a box showing the original dealer that the lamp was shipped to- H. Phillips Co. of Wausau. WI. The box has model 200A195 stamped ... moreon it. As you can see in the photos, the box does have writing, water stains, and tears from opening of the package. This lantern is being sold as is.
