Up for auction is this vintage reproduction Buffalo Gasoline gas globe. Both the front and back are made of glass and the green rim that connects them is plastic. The globe measures 16 ½” high and 16” wide. The rim is labeled Capcolite No. 216 and was made by the Cinn. Adv. Products Co. The globe is marked reproduction. The globe is open at the bottom and can be illuminated. This globe was formerly used in a display at a restaurant. There are some signs of wear. Small scratches and discoloration to the plastic. There are three mounting holes ~ two at the top and one at the bottom. Two of the brass grommets are missing and the third one that is in place shows signs of wear. Here is an original Vietnam War Gasoline Lantern which is in very good + condition as shown. The lantern was manufactured by AFM(Auto-Fab Manufacturing) of Mansfield. Ohio. Everything seems to be in good working order with no damage. Also included are spare mantles, a wrench, a small unopened part package, and 2 gas generation tubes with instructions. There is very light rust on the inside as with most cans. There are no markings on the can. Please look at the enlarged pictures closely and determine the condition of this item for yourself.
